Some Craft Fair Tips for a Successful Event!

Display: Avoid clutter and laying items flat on a table. Instead, use stands, baskets, and shelving to create a cohesive layout.

Pricing: Have a variety of prices and bring enough stock to cover your costs if you sell out. You can display prices creatively with custom signs, price tags, or chalkboards.

Customer service: Be respectful and answer questions, even if they seem silly.

Cash: Bring enough cash to make change, as many people pay with cash.

Help: Have a helper to prevent shoplifting and/or to answer questions.

Booth space: Make your booth bright and full, but not crowded.

Confidence: Be proud of your work and have confidence in your creations.

Decorations: Use bright decorations that don't overpower your art. If you have jewelry, have a mirror. If you have neon items, have a black light.

Bags: Have bags ready for sales.

Business cards: Bring business cards.

Sold out signs: Have sold out signs to entice new customers.

I am often asked to tell people about myself. So here is a quick little post about me.

Aside from being a mother, wife, and hospitality professional, I have a plethora of additional areas that keep me busy!
I operate my own candle company: Paquette Parlour. We are moving into our 5th year this October!
My husband and I are currently raising 4 Shiba Inus. Our first litter is expected to arrive in January 2025.
Like many SE Wisconsinites, I grew up around Harley culture. I enjoy riding and attending large bike related meet ups.
And lets talk food! I LOVE to cook. It's my true love language. Which may also be why I like to make candles. It is similar to cooking. However, I enjoy creating new recipes for my friends and family to try.

Lastly - let's not forget the planning! I enjoy planning parties, events, meetings, etc. It's rewarding for me to see it all come together. Whether I am working on my own events or for a client, achieving a perfect event is a thrill unlike any other.

P3 is at it again! We just teamed up with House of Nutrition and Lesa DeBergh to host Namaste in the Nest - a rooftop Yoga Series, where Lesa will be teaching gentle flow yoga! The class will conclude with light bites and beverages, all included in the ticket fee. Hope to see you there!

Hi all! For those in the Belle City Craft Fair this weekend, we will have set up from 6p-8p on Friday and before the event on Saturday from 8:30a-9:30a!

Hello everyone!

If you have applied and not heard back from me, I apologize. The holidays took a very hard toll on me. As many of you are aware, I work in hospitality full time. The hotel industry has taken a huge hit with Covid and it isn’t letting up. It’s been a lot to process mentally, as well as physically. Many of us are doing the work of 3-4 people at once. I took a minor break to clear up some outstanding items and focus on my family. I am in full planning mode now and will be reviewing additional applicants this evening.

We will be responding to March AND December events tonight.

What a day! Our craft fair had an amazing turn out and we were busy from the start. This video is from when it finally slowed down a little. Almost everyone said it was one of, if not THE best, show of the season. 🥰 we are truly blessed.
