My first participation in Ukrainian advocacy Days, March 8-9, 2023

Thank our team for your energy, consistency, and desire to reach senators and their offices to convey Ukrainian issues. Love you, girls!

Conclusions:
1) the offices of senators are open for communication, but it is better to schedule meetings in advance,
2) work with representatives locally - invite them to Ukrainian rallies and events, develop closer communication with Members of Congress
3) focus on working with senators who do not support Ukraine yet - be in touch with them, ask questions, spread information, and tell personal stories. People create politics, and our goal is to reach every person.

💡Висновок: зібратися, сфокусуватися на головному, робити те, де можу бути найбільш корисна.

💡Встала, прийняла душ, вдягнулась у вишиванку і пішла «презентувати» Україну: сильно, красиво, чесно, вдячно

❤️ “кожен приймає своє рішення самостійно” , “приймаю допомогу та допомогаю іншим» , брат в Харкові - мій найбільший вчитель ємпатіі та прийняття.
💡висновок : відчувати та думати перед тим як написати - запитати - слова важливі

“Dear Friends,
I traveled to Ukraine in June to deliver medical equipment to hospitals that were damaged in the Russian invasion. I also worked to distribute food to the 5 million "internal refugees" who were forced out of the war zone in Eastern Ukraine. While in Ukraine I vowed to return to the US and do whatever I could to help the Ukrainian people.

Upon my return I set up helpingukraine.us to raise funds for medical equipment, food and other supplies for the Ukrainian people.

Today is Ukraine Independence Day. I believe that the Russians will intensify their attack. I want to update you on the current situation in Ukraine and spread the word about the help that is needed. Please watch Andrew Young and other leaders discuss the situation in this incredible country on the video below. A shorter version of this video is now being distributed by Voice of America around the world. Please spread the word!

August 24th, Independence Day in Ukraine, what is there to celebrate this year?
Rather than a day of celebration, Emory Morsberger’s team has created a day of giving. One Day for Ukraine will be a 24-hour telethon to encourage contributions from individuals around the world.
The day-long broadcast will tell the story of life in Ukraine today, those who have escaped the country to refugee camps, and those who stayed behind in the war-torn country.
The humanitarian spirit from one-on-one interactions between Emory Morsberger’s team, and with those with whom he has met, has sparked an outpouring of support for dire needs in Ukraine. They have learned firsthand, the willingness of many to serve this critical need through their contributions.

We desire to say a sincere “thank you ”just as loudly as when we have asked for “help”.
Ukraine is a grateful nation to all the countries and their citizens that have given their support. Some gave shelter in their home, some helped with their time explaining to new arrivals about their city, and others helped fill out documents. The size of the help is not important, it’s the willingness of so many to help Ukrainians in their time of need.
So now let's get together to say, “THANK YOU, USA!”
Right now, all of us are exhausted by war and volunteerism, and we need a deep breath of oxygen in order to keep going. We need the strength to support Ukraine and win together.
Your word “thank you ”, spoken in time, perhaps right now, can sustain the desire and continue to help our children, our families, and our soldiers
We all appreciate what is being done, but be sure to show your support to those around you with your attention and sincere gratitude.

🌧 In the morning I thought, what about those soldiers who fight in the rain? And what about those women and children who were forced to move to foreign cities and countries and go to rallies in all cities of the world? How can I be at home and don’t fight for Ukraine?

it's my time to learn how to deal with covid. After 3 vaccines and 3 years of a pandemic, my husband and I got sick. How to get medical help and a test in the USA?
1) do not go to your family doctor,
2) find a medical institution nearby where they take the test (there is also a doctor’s examination),
3) you can come without an appointment,
4) the process took about an hour with a doctor’s examination and recommendations for treatment,
5) the test result was sent to the mail in an hour.
6) cost - we will find out soon ... insurance covers the test, but additional payments come every time.
