So starts the week of Lindsey and Nick ❤️ Sometimes a couple comes along that just sweeps me off my feet, and that is the case for these two special humans!

Lindsey and Nick hired me as their planner in September, 2023 and instantly I felt a connection to them. They're so innately GOOD in every way, and I always looked forward to our planning calls. They knew what they wanted but were so collaborative with me and we planned a pretty kicka** wedding if I do say so myself.

They had been together since MIDDLE SCHOOL, and the love between them is still growing. Lindsey is a PA in an emergency room and Nick is close to finishing school to become a nurse anesthetist, so not only are they so kind and beautiful, they're hardworking and brilliant.

They were the first couple I told about my pregnancy and their reaction was so heartwarming, and ever since they've made me feel so special. They thanked me during their ceremony (bring on the waterworks) and it was so evident how many people LOVE them by the way they were showered with affection the day of their wedding.

PLEASE wish this special couple congrats and a lifetime of love ❤️❤️❤️

Meet the Team: Me 💜 My name is Brittany and I am the proud owner of Brittany's Brides! Here are some fun facts about me:

💜I started my planning business 4 years ago (almost to the day) on a whim when a family friend opened up a wedding venue and a couple's coordinator got COVID. It started an immediate love of this industry and I knew it was something I wanted to keep doing.

💜I enjoy wedding coordination but I LOVE being a planner for couples! Building that personal relationship to me is so important and really special!

💜I am still a full time teacher and this is my 14th year. I currently teach second grade in Tampa and always wanted to be a teacher growing up. I've had a lot of great memories in the education world but I'm ready to put my focus on solely my business.

💜I've been married 8 years and have very fond memories of planning my own wedding, but at the time didn't quite have the spark that would lead me to actually doing this as a job. Life has a funny way of leading you down unexpected paths.

💜My husband, Clay, and I have 3 dogs, Loki, Nova, and Captain. I'm completely obsessed with them, they're my fur babies.

💜I have a big life change happening right now that I will be sharing soon! Can you guess what it is?

Meet the Team: Erica!

Erica is the newest member of our Brittany's Brides team and boy are we lucky to have her! Erica is also in the education field, which means she comes with a built in hardworking attitude, problem-solving skills, and to-do list checker. Plus she's a mom of three so she knows a thing or two about multi-tasking 😜

Erica is so beautiful inside and out and has really jumped in seamlessly with our team. She has a great attitude and really enjoys the beauty of weddings; which there is plenty to take in! Let's show her some love!

I love when a photographer captures the beauty of a couple but also the beauty of the backdrop 🙌🏻 Tampa has so many beautiful backdrops to take advantage of for wedding photos.

Jenny and Alex got married at the stunning Sacred Heart Church which offered photography options both I side and out. Then during cocktail hour they headed to University of Tampa to take photos with the gorgeous buildings!

Monday Motivation, be as happy as Kelly and Augie with Doggie at their wedding 🐕 🌺

We've seen an uptick in couples incorporating their dogs into their weddings, and we are here for it! Doggie is actually a service dog, but was also a star that day! So sweet and loving, and really lapped up all the attention ❤️

Meet the Team: Kat!

Kat is one of our lead coordinators and has been with Brittany's Brides for over a year now and was a true blessing to add to our team. Kat is calm, cool, and collected in any situation, which is important for weddings because hiccups occur even with the best planned ones. Kat is such a workhorse and can complete tasks as if she was two people, I can always rely on her for a focused and efficient set up. During a wedding she always has a smile on her face which makes her approachable for all guests and they always walk away with a smile and their problem solved!

Kat may be newer to the business, but she's been in my life for going on 14 years. Kat and I were second grade teammates at my first ever teaching job. As my team leader, she quickly became a teaching mentor to me, somebody I looked up to not only because of her excellent teaching, but also because of what an amazing human she is. Few years after Kat was one of my bridesmaids in my wedding to my husband. She's an incredible mom, Amazing friend, and all-around wonderful human being- not to mention, no one rocks a short haircut like her.

Meet the Team: Jackie!

Jackie has been working with me the longest out of all the girls, and she is my rock! We have been teaching together at the same school for going on 7 years, so we have that strong foundation to fall back on.

Jackie is an incredibly hard worker, always thinking a few steps ahead to possible issues that may arise, and takes great pride in doing things not just well but incredibly. She has worked with me long enough to know what I need before I need it, which makes her a great partner to have on hand, but she also does lead coordinating on her own.

Jackie is hilarious, and always keeps me and the other girls cracking up on wedding days. She loves interacting with wedding guests and bridal parties, and people naturally gravitate to her boisterous personality.

Having someone I trust that has helped to build the positive reputation of this business is crucial to the future success of Brittany's Brides. Very grateful for my OG wedding work wife, and looking forward to many more flawless weddings together!

Absolutely gobsmacked by these stunning flowers for Emily and Gheorghe's sweetheart table 🤍 🌸

The groom built this gorgeous backdrop that had light up letters and their new married last name and it turned out SO good! The incredible florist .floraldesign knocked it out of the park with the florals across the top!

We repurposed the florals for on top of the sweetheart table from their cross at the chapel and around the chapel for in front of the sweetheart table. Emily had a floral vision and it was certainly brought to life 🙌🏻
