The Southeast U.S. is still reeling from the devastation caused by Hurricane Helene, the second deadliest hurricane to hit the contiguous United States. Communities are grappling with catastrophic landslides, historic flooding, and widespread destruction, leaving millions without power and countless homes and businesses damaged or destroyed. Now, as the region struggles to recover, Hurricane Milton is fast approaching Florida’s Gulf Coast, threatening even more devastation.
Greater Good Charities is actively [on the ground](https://greatergood.org/our-response-to-hurricane-helene-hurricane-milton) in North Carolina, South Carolina, Florida, Georgia, and other severely impacted areas, delivering critical relief in the face of back-to-back storms. We are providing life-saving supplies, hygiene products, Good Packs, food, and water while working closely with local partners to reach the hardest-hit communities. Our temporary distribution center in Winter Haven, east of Tampa, continues to operate, where staff and volunteers are distributing essential pet food and supplies to those in dire need.
The event will stream live on Twitch, and all proceeds will directly support Greater Good Charities’ ongoing efforts to deliver vital aid to the communities devastated by both hurricanes.
