Odibaadodaan and opening of "World-builders, shapeshifters", a group exhibition featuring works by Alex Jacobs-Blum, Kat Brown Akootchook, Kay Nadjiwon, Natalie King, Nishina Shapwaykeesic-Loft, and Sheri Osden Nault.
Enjoy a variety of performances and interactive workshops happening throughout the gallery, led by various First Nations, Métis, and Inuit storytellers. (Hoop dancing, comedy, throat singing, quill workshop and so much more!)
Refreshments will be served. This is a free event, open to everyone of all ages to attend and participate. :)
Location: Robert McLaughlin Gallery (72 Queen St, Oshawa, ON ) Date: Friday, November 24 from 6pm – 9pm.
Opening remarks will begin at 6pm, with drop-in workshops taking place from 7pm – 9pm.
