Hello,
There will be some changes coming to Waterside Party Kit Hire.

We have decided that we will no longer be offering the themed kits nor offering serving ware.

We still have The Dinky Basic One and The Dinky Rainbow One.

Can’t wait to see both those kits making their way to some more parties!

Not long to go until our fundraising jungle classes! We are supporting and raising money for Kicks Count, so how will our donations help? ⬇

£1 - Provides 100 antenatal note stickers

£3 - Provides 60 Movement information leaflets

£5 - Provides 70 Maternity note inserts

£10 - Supplies 100 posters

£100 - Keeps the website up and running for 3 days

In classes this week there will be a raffle and tickets are £1 each! we have some fantastic prizes donated included Longdown Activity Farm family ticket, New Forest Wildlife Park family ticket, breakfast for two from Number 15, a voucher for Build-a-Bear and also for Waterside Party Kit Hire ( thankyou everyone!). I will be drawing the winners at the end of the week on Friday so keep your eyes peeled to see if you are a winner!

Exciting News

A favourite party game - Pass the Parcel - is famous for creating a lot of waste.

Love the game but hate the waste? We have the solution.

Reusable Pass the Parcel.

So easy to use:

1. Place the Winner token in the smallest bag.

2. Put a sweety/goody in the next bag, pop the previous bag in.

3. Repeat

Whoever gets the Winner token brings it to the party organiser for the prize.

We have enough bags to ensure that 29 people get a treat and someone gets the winner token.

Only £2 to hire.

The community fridge in Hythe Library will enable us to offer frozen foods.
At the moment when we collect chilled foods like milk, meats and cheese, they have to be handed out before midnight or frozen straight away.

This does limit our ability to reach as many people as we would like as not everyone can get to the pop ups run across the waterside, and the fab team who deliver food parcels are small and have to focus on those most in need.

By having a fridge and freezer in the library, more people will be able to access a bit of extra food, whilst helping solve food waste.

If you would like to help us we need a few more volunteers, but more important at this stage we need some help with funding. If you are a local business and would like to help support the community fridge please do get in touch.

Used School Uniform

I am running a School Uniform table at the next Waterside Clothes Swap event.
The idea of the swap is for people to give new homes to preloved clothes for free (or you can give a donation if you wish). Therefore, all the uniform will be free to anyone who wishes to have it.

I have some bits that I have for the table, but I would love to be able to offer as much as possible in terms of age groups and schools.

I'm creating a Parties Essential Bag to add to the party kits when they go to parties. I'm thinking of putting in there the things that may get forgotten.
So far I have:

14 candles with holders
a lighter
a candle that says Happy Birthday (blue in colour)
a couple of bin bags
3x birthday banners (neutral colours)

If you have any suggestions of items to add, that would be great.
