What a night of southern bites! Cooking with one of my best girls is always such a treat and even sweeter when a part of your circle is there too! I am so blessed to have friends who share their bounty and know how much it means to have them with me both physically and in spirit. Last night we shared some of the incredible blueberry, jalapeño jam from my friends at - for one of the small bites we prepared the BEST smoked grits by our farmer friends at for the wonton shrimp and grits bowls. We topped the cornbread minis (not pictured)
😕) with homemade pimento cheese and candied jalapeños! 😋 The final bite was mini chicken and waffles with a hot honey glaze! We ended the night with the best of friends at for my favorite glass of wine and an incredible ahi tuna poke app!

What a NIGHT! To say I am fulfilled is an understatement. I was surrounded by the people who believed in me when I lost what I knew and they hired me to clean their house to keep my lights on. I was able to share their farm-made pepper jelly with my class tonight. To my lifelong best girl and seeing her candles being showcased in the shop, to my family at Davis Farms fourth generation cane syrup in and over the twice baked sweet potatoes, to my dear friend at Porter House Meats for literally taking my order in the parking lot and trimmed it out, ground the trimmings in to hamburger meat and I picked it up later on. Total parking lot deal to boot! And lastly but the reason this post exists… to I will forever believe that God put Brent in Havana to visit me and He lead me to you. I will never forget how you girls and of course the (in my own words) Brand Ambassador Michael have opened doors. To my clients and my family, I love and I appreciate this journey we are all on together. Lead us home Lord!!!! 🤍 ♾️ 🙏🏻
