Pig Roast tonight at an Active Adults place I've been working at for over a decade, normally a 35 minute drive down 30 minutes home...
I keep checking the Google Maps... 40 minutes, 43 minutes, 46 minutes, now 50 minutes, think I'm leaving SOON. I want to be there at 4:30 for a 6pm start, it's 3:30 now, so out the door in 10 minutes

Food Trucks In The Fall Mother's Day weekend at Oak Tree Lodge this weekend had some amazing food from Mr. Q's Island Eats, the chicken and pork skewers were delicious, but the real surprise to me was Fed’s On The Go, they have these tiny thin crust pizzas loaded with yummy toppings, when you open the box it doesn't look impressive, but the flavors were FANTASTIC!
I don't know where these trucks usually set up to sell their wares, but track them down and enjoy!!!!

Just received my new Zettle bluetooth card reader for Paypal. I can take any chip or tap card as long as my phone can connect to the internet :)
Lose about 3% to fees, but anything that makes it easier for people to give me money is a good thing!

OK... So... I just called my prospective New Years Eve client to remind them they haven't approved their contract or paid their deposit more than a month after calling to book....
They informed me one of their members has decided to volunteer because he just bought some new blue tooth speakers and they sound great... sigh
I gave them a low rate because it's a senior place and they were only doing 9:15 - 12:15 and I'd be home by 1:15...
SO if anyone needs a DJ for a small to medium event on NYE reach out and maybe we can work something out 🙂
I like doing senior parties for NYE because I get home before the drunks hit the roads

Saturday I was DJing for a Polar Plunge in Long Branch. Before the plunge some of the people gathered on the beach to get ready, so I played them some warm-up music :)
