Hello everyone, we would like to inform you that this week a charter and toolbox have been launched for a safe(r) and more inclusive nightlife in Ghent. This is the result of a collaboration between us and the nightlife council of the city of Ghent and goboomgent.

The charter contains agreements about accessibility and zero tolerance for discrimination and transgressive behavior. A number of nightlife stakeholders have already signed this and the document will be hung in these places. We hope this will spread further throughout the city and beyond so that many others will follow.

In addition, a toolbox was made that contains various materials to organize a safe(r) event and how to deal with transgressive behavior. You can order this box via the link below.

We would also like to announce that we offer a training in which all this information is presented. If you are interested in this as an event organization, youth collective, ... you can always email us for more information.

Although we are happy with the result, we would like to mention that these documents are only a start and that we attach great importance to seeing these words in practice.

Together with the amazing we developed these fabulous posters focusing on different clusters of safe.r spaces. Find them tomorrow all around the open air terrain and after party 💜

Alsooo, we provide a workshop during the open air regarding active bystanders and care. A practice that is needed in the future, creating safer environments in nightlife together.

Come and join us tomorrow starting from 14 in the rabot park in Ghent! Open air is free, afterparty 8 euro!

Om het eenjarig bestaan van LEDA.collective te vieren - dat mede mogelijk is gemaakt door jullie - houden we een verjaardags/tuinfeest in Theresia op 29 juni!
We verwelkomen jullie allen graag van 14:00-22:00.
De dag vangt aan met een panelgesprek over de weg die wij als LEDA dit jaar hebben afgelegd, wat we hebben geleerd, wat we graag nog zien verbeteren en waar we naartoe willen werken. Enkele LEDA-leden gaan in dialoog met externe organisaties zoals NACHT en Affair, die zich op een gelijkaardige manier op een safe.r (nacht)leven focussen.
Nadien vieren we samen met jullie de rest van de dag in de zon, met frisse drankjes en goeie muziek door verschillende artiesten.
Hopelijk kunnen we er samen van genieten!

In honor of our 1-year existence as a collective - which is undeniably made possible by all of you - we’d like to celebrate this with a flourishing Garden Party at Theresia on the 29th of June.
We will be welcoming everyone between the hours of 14:00 and 22:00.
We start the day off by talking about how we’ve experienced the start of the collective and the journey we have embarked upon. This will be a conversation between LEDA-members and other collectives that have walked similar paths this past year, such as Affair and Nacht.
Afterwards, we'd like to enjoy the good weather with you, have some drinks and be entertained by some live sets by musicians and DJs for the remainder of the day.
We would love to celebrate our first anniversary with all of you!

In deze maanden zullen onze open vergaderingen en thema-avonden dus plaatsvinden te Nieuwland 65, Gent.

GOOD NEWS!!!!!
LEDA is one of the collectives residing in Broei from May to October!
During 6 months, our open meetings and theme nights will thus be held at Nieuwland 65, Ghent.
