DESIGN SPACE - CHEAT SHEET

OFFSET

You might not know but the offset tool can be used in two way

1. To create a thick border around the image, some reasons may be to create a colour gradient, you can use it to create a thicker border around thin areas that otherwise wouldn’t cut well

2. Secondly you can use it to create an inverted offset where you may then go on to create borders out of objects

Let me now how you use the offset function or if you have any questions on how to use it

This tool is a game changer when it comes to making 3D layered cake toppers

CRICUT MUST HAVES

For me these are my top four must have items to compliment my cricut machine

1. Cricut tools help you work with vinyl to w**d, a scraper tool to get items off your mat and you’re always needing a pair of scissors to cut off your excess vinyl or paper

2. Blanks - Whether this be tshirts, mugs, cards, party boxes etc the options are endless ! Blanks allow you to create items for your self or items to sell.

3. Device - Did you know you can run your cricut machine off a phone, iPad or Computer. My preferred is the computer as the screen is bigger but I do love that you have options

4. Printer - This isn’t a must have for everyone and definitely not one when you’re beginning but once you find yourself using print and cut items then a good printer is definitely a must have

Each May has a different grip strength therefore is best used on different products.
