Good afternoon everyone!

Today starting at 4pm we will start the cleanup process at the pond!
We need as much help as we can get!

We are so excited for this pond project and are even more excited for you all to see the plans!

Mike D's Backyard BBQ will be set us serving his delicious food tonight so make sure you stop by & support him!

There are two entrances to the pond, one is off of Abner St and the other is off of Attica (by the maintenance building)

As for Saturday’s cleanup day, we’ve decided to reschedule due to forecast & many members of the committee and community have prior engagements so we will move it to a date that better fits everyone’s schedules!

Hello everyone 👋🏻

We want to thank everyone for liking & sharing our page!

This Friday we need your help!

We will be at the pond from 4pm-dusk clearing out the overgrowth!

Mike D's Backyard BBQ will be set up selling his famous pulled pork sandwiches, hot dogs, hamburgers, and nachos! 🤤

We need w**d eaters, rakes, trailers, mowers, (if you have a bobcat or anything to clear out the very overgrown paths that would be incredibly helpful)

We are so lucky to have this gem in our community for our children & families! Let’s face it, in todays world all kiddos want to do is play video games, so giving them a space where they can fish, hang out with their friends, ride their bikes, and so much more is a great opportunity!

This is also a great volunteer opportunity for high schoolers & college students who need volunteer hours for college, to graduate, and NHS!

We would also like to thank Rosella Ray for purchasing and donating two grain bin pavilions for this project. ❤️

We need your help!

The community has collected bottle caps for the past couple of years that will create benches for our town. Due to COVID the sorting process has taken longer than expected.

We need help this upcoming Monday from 9am-3pm at the Fire Station!

Mark the clean up dates in your calendar and SHARE with your fb friends! ✏️

Bring your friends, family, or just yourself (and some gloves) and come out on either date to help us get started on this project!

We are hoping to have Mike D's Backyard BBQ set up to serve some yummy food during one of the clean up days! (We will update once we’re closer to the date)

If we all work together we can make this happen! 🤗

Hello and welcome to our new page where we keep you regularly updated on current projects, events, and meetings in Rossville IL! 🤗

We currently have a couple projects in the works to improve our community.

One in particular that we need community support with is the ”L” pond. We are wanting to turn the pond into a Rossville destination for locals, kiddos, family gatherings, and more! We have a beautiful space (13 acres) that we want to start utilizing that many do not even realize exists!

What can you do to help?

- We will be scheduling clean up days to help clean the area up. We will need all hands on deck that are willing to help bring this to life.

- We are going to be asking for your help to name the pond! This is an exciting opportunity for the community to take part in something that will be around forever! 🐾
