Take Two Photography capturing Cody and Sarah Heckman’s wedding on September 21, 2024 ❤️ Sarah’s smile lit up the room!

What is even more special about these pics is that Cody’s grandma was in hospice. Her goal and word was that she was going to make it to their wedding and stay til 11pm, closing time. She sure showed us and was even on the dance floor. She sadly passed away days after. What a special wedding with beautiful moments. We are so happy she knew that Cody married his perfect match! We will never forget ❤️

We were able to donate our venue in October for a great cause, helping to raise awareness for breast cancer. The producers did an outstanding job and our local male models made it so much fun! Local businesses donated gift baskets, bras and the local community brought their enthusiasm and raised almost $5,000 for the first annual event.

Thank you to Susan Moy for the pictures! We appreciate your time and experience! These pics are a lot of fun! Big shout out to DJ Dan for also donating your time!

Thank you to the donors!!!!!

What a beautiful celebration to wrap up our 2024 wedding season! The celebration in the barn was filled with an undeniable love and energy that resonated with everyone present. After over a decade together, Scott and Colleen's big day was indeed a long-awaited joy, and it's wonderful that guests traveled from downstate to honor the newlyweds at their special place at Higgins Lake.

The personal touches, like Colleen's dad creating the wedding cake, added such warmth to the occasion and grandpa's mischievous spirit on the dance floor! Their dogs in the ceremony brought an extra layer of love and joy, too. We loved witnessing the deep connection between Scott and Colleen, along with these heartfelt moments, truly captures the essence of what makes a wedding unforgettable. They ended the night with sharing the last song and dance just for them.

Cheers to the beautiful memories created and to the love that will continue to grow for this amazing couple! ❤️ Congratulations to newly wedded, Mr. & Mrs. Kuechle, married on October 26th, 2024! Here are our behind-the-scenes sneak peek pics!

The beautiful union of newly wedded Jonny and Hannah Haskell brought together cherished friends and family from across Michigan, Georgia, Illinois, Florida and Colorado to Higgins Lake. Their ceremony was against a backdrop of vibrant fall colors paired with perfect weather. The wedding was a true celebration of love, joy and happiness!

The barn was adorned with stunning floater candles that illuminated the farm tables, creating a romantic and warm atmosphere. Hannah’s mom and stepdad, Carrie and Jason, poured their love into helping Hannah achieve her perfect look. They creatively transformed a slab of travertine into beautiful table numbers, adding a personal touch to the decor. Hannah’s dad, Paul, provided immense support by picking up trailers, running errands, and helping with decor. The whipped honey jars and adorable dog treats for favors were a hit, reflecting the couple's thoughtful attention to detail. Their dog, Tucker, played a significant role in the day, and we’re pretty sure he needs a vacation after all the excitement!

The barn was bustling with creativity thanks to the dedicated efforts of family and friends. A particularly memorable moment was when Jonny’s dad, John, played the keyboard and sang during Jonny’s dance with his mother, accompanied by his friend Jeff on guitar. It was a beautiful touch that added to the day’s magic!

It truly was a day where love and nature intertwined seamlessly, making this an unforgettable occasion. Congratulations to newly wedded, Mr. & Mrs. Haskell, married on October 19th, 2024! Here are our behind-the-scenes sneak peek pics!

With our unpredictable Fall weather lately, our wedding yesterday was spared for one of the nicer days this week! Tristen and Kayla have been together for 11 years and have the cutest toddler, Will. They made it official yesterday and we couldn’t have been happier for them. The surprise first look with Tristen's best friend dressed in a wedding gown was such a fun and memorable moment! Kayla's tribute to her late grandfather with his Harley Davidson t-shirt sewn into her dress was such a touching way to honor his memory, and it added a unique and meaningful element to her bridal look.

The Fall theme was executed flawlessly, with stunning fresh flowers that perfectly complemented Kayla's vision. The wedding tribe came together to create such a picturesque setting. A huge shoutout to Hannah and Jenna from Cheers To You Bartending for keeping the celebration lively and enjoyable!

Congratulations to Tristen and Kayla on their beautiful day and their journey ahead as a family! Wishing them all the happiness in the world as they embark on this new chapter together. ❤️

What a beautiful celebration for newly wedded, Mr. & Mrs. Dudansky! It was a perfect weekend filled with love and cherished memories. Krista's enthusiasm for dancing set the tone for a fun evening. The groomsmen got the memo and turned it up another level with Brett 🎉 🕺🏻 🎣 Krista knew exactly what she wanted for their special day and with family and friends, the tribe made it look effortless. It was beautiful and you looked gorgeous in your dress, Krista ❤️

It was heartwarming to see how Hema and the late Poppy Rineman contributed their personal touches to the day. The quilt blocks on the farm tables for guests to sign were such a unique idea, creating a lasting keepsake that everyone can be a part of. We hope to see the final quilt 🥰 Poppy turned the cake serving handles with a wood lathe uniquely for all three granddaughters for each of their weddings. Poppy's spirit was felt throughout the festivities. It’s moments like these that truly make a wedding special.

This wedding painted a perfect picture of a joyous occasion filled with so much love and laughter for Timm and Connie. If there is one word we could describe the vibe, is HAPPY. Family and guests filled the barn to celebrate the union of newly wedded, Mr. & Mrs. Heinig. Even though the leaves haven’t changed, it sure felt like Fall and it was perfect weather!

Both served in the military and it was beautiful to see their tight knit military family share their day. Thank you for your service!! Connie’s deceased grandparents were right there in spirit as she walked down the aisle. A picture of Connie as a toddler with them adorned her beautiful bouquet. The decor, the wedding tribe and vibe were top notch ❤️

Congratulations to newly wedded, Mr. & Mrs. Heignig married on September 28th, 2024! Here are our behind-the-scenes sneak peek pics!

What gorgeous weather, as we officially lead into Fall this weekend. So much love and fun from the family and friends of newly wedded, Cody and Sarah Heckman! Sarah had a vision of greenery hanging throughout the rafters with our fairy lights and thanks to Cody’s dedication, he ensured she was going to get the look she dreamt of. Awesome job Cody! MOB, Cindee, adorned beautiful pots of mums throughout, adding to the Fall wedding colors.

Sarah’s passion for MI football, had her inquiring about the MI/USC score before we took her picture for our post 🤣Luckily, their win added to their night! The humorous touch from the best man, Jordon, with the Ohio shirt brought some laughs and friendly rivalry during his speech. Somehow, that shirt did not make it back with them 😄 Cody’s grandma, aka Grams, was the true party star. Grams embodied the spirit of celebration, and made it to closing time to honor the couple. She sure showed us! Cody gave her a small wooden cross when he was 6 years old that she held onto for all this time. She surprised Cody with it during the ceremony, as the officiant gifted it back to Cody. Insert box of tissues here 🥹 Lastly, one of our favorites will always be when the couple shares the very last dance at the end of the night, all alone in the barn. There is nothing better than having a moment to reflect on your day, while slow dancing and knowing you just married your best friend ❤️

Congratulations to newly wedded, Mr. & Mrs. Heckman married on September 21st, 2024! Here are our behind-the-scenes sneak peek pics!

Another beautiful wedding weekend with perfect weather! Saginaw family and guests really brought the love to the Funka wedding last night ❤️ Aunt Cheryl’s gorgeous hydrangeas were sprinkled throughout the venue and added such a lovely touch. We’ll never forget the four most entertaining and beautiful flower grandmas! Your personalities lit up the aisle and brought so much life and laughter to the day! The passing down of the cake topper through three generations is such a special tradition, adding a touch of nostalgia that makes the occasion even more memorable. A big shoutout to DJ Josh with Iles Entertainment for keeping the energy high and the dance floor lively! Cheers to love, family, and unforgettable moments! 🥂❤️

Congratulations to newly wedded, Mr. & Mrs. Funka, married on September 14th, 2024! Here are our behind-the-scenes sneak peek pics.
