I had to edit down the length of the hug In this video! We hugged for a solid two mins, as Megan had lots of happy tears when she saw her bridal bouquet 🥹🥹. Which then started me off 🤣 Ethereal, whimsical and oh so romantic….. Filled with blooms from my gardens as well as imported stunners. Special peonies being the anchor flower of the bouquet- as Megan had peonies embroidered onto her stunning bridal gown. Featuring; Poppies, roses, orlaya, lavender, daises, feverfew, lisianthus, larkspur and pretty purple honesty Bright pastels and pops of orange, all tied up in pink silk frayed ribbons. And the most unique part? The bouquet ribbons, were calligraphy printed, with Megan’s favourite line from Her 1st dance song with Conor. ‘ Out of all those kinds of people You got a face with a view’ From ‘ This must be the place’ by Talking heads. Look at this VISION and her gorgeous bridesmaids. My bride, Sarah - looking like she just stepped off a shoot with Vogue brides. After setting up the ceremony space, I always go back up to my bride and make sure her bouquet is dried off or check if she wants any adjustments to her flowers now she’s in the dress. Im not joking you, when the door opened my jaw was on the floor when I saw Sarah! Look at her stunning dress. Her gorgeous girls, in tonal shades of green - really complimented the bouquets! Sarah wanted her flowers to be lux, white, fresh with pops of greenery. Her bouquet was filled with garden roses, Anthiriums, Delphinium, spray roses, fresh spring tulips and two fabulous orchids. I made her bouquet in a half cascade and mixed with my own whimsical style. Her bridesmaids had the same flowers, but with more greenery and pops of baby’s breath. Sarah lit up her bouquet! SARAH & KEV 🤍 Apart from Sarah’s bouquet, THIS is my absolute favourite part of Saturdays wedding! In the dining room of The Westbury, we rearranged all the baby’s breath clouds from the aisle decor, and created one huge statement piece. This was finished off, with lots of candles in varied heights, dotted through the baby’s breath The unity arrangement got a second lease of life too, and became the centre piece to the centre piece 🤍 Such a dramatic table to really wow guests and an amazing way to repurpose ceremony flowers. I had planned to do this last year, in the very early stages of planning with Sarah. So, while I was making these earlier in the week, I was mindful to ensure each ‘cloud’ was a certain height for the table, but still tall enough for the ceremony aisle without looking flat. Each cloud was packed with baby’s breath, so we had to make sure it was still light and airy for the dining table. I literally used hundreds and hundreds of stems ! I don’t show enough of my greenhouses or cutting gardens. I tend to think everyone just prefers to see the end result of pretty bridal bouquets! But, growing the Majority of my flowers is a huge part of my brand and who I am- so I’m planning on showing a lot more of the growing process this year ! I’m fortunate enough to have two large growing spaces with greenhouses on each. This one is my Saggart garden. It’s just under half an acre, that I started planting on last year. The plan is to double what was grown here last year, and continue to build on that 🤞🤞 I also have my large garden space in Rathmines next to my studio. This is one colour that has SO many tones as well as flowers in hundreds of shades. A colour that can lend itself to any time of year. My personal favourite is the deep and moody jewel tones !
