Take5 Jazz am Hellweg
Stimmgewaltig und mit einer leidenschaftlichen Intensität, die jeden im Publikum mitzog, so präsentierte sich die amerikanische Jazzsängerin Soleil Niklasson gestern abend in der vollbesetzten Kulturschmiede in Fröndenberg.
Am vorletzten Abend des diesjährigen Festivals Take5 Jazz am Hellweg begeisterte "The Voice from Chicago" mit einer Musik, aus der in jeder Minute wahre Hingabe sprach. Dem standen die anderen Musiker auf der Bühne in nichts nach, allen voran der begnadete Trompeter Dmitrij Telmanov mit wieder einmal meisterhafter Virtuosität auf seinem Instrument. Aber auch Pianist Sven Bergmann, Uli Bär am Kontrabass sowie Andreas Griefingholt am Schlagzeug sorgten dafür, dass sich die Zuhörer wie in einem Jazzclub in Downton Chicago fühlen konnten.
Frenetischer Beifall, der zwei Zugaben einforderte, sowie ein "stehender" Saal am Ende des Konzert belegten eindrucksvoll, welch tiefen Eindruck Soleil Niklasson und ihre Musiker beim Publikum hinterlassen hatten.
