The rosy sunset last Saturday painted a rosy picture for Caitlyn and Jason, and their lavender-laden wedding added to the soft and romantic mood. Caitlyn chose our fairy-lit hurricane lamps to bring height to the table and our sage green chargers were the perfect compliment to lavender buds. We offered white umbrellas to guests to beat the sun's rays and they became a prominent prop for fun photos.
Jason's U.S. Navy buddies were amazing assets during set-up and tear-down; let's hear it for the boys! Caitlyn and Jason, thank you for choosing us; we hope your future together will always be rosy!

This past weekend the meadow was filled with amazing music and love from the Redfellow Music Festival. We had the best time.

Happy 1st Anniversary to Elizabeth and Carrie! Our hearts are still smiling one year after their wedding. They are one the sweetest, most thoughtful couples we've met and love how they brought beauty, humor, and whimsy to our meadows. The "American Gothic" photo is epic! They chose the chandelier/chiffon treatment for Starlight Barn and asked guests to sign a real watercolor painting of it. Elizabeth and Carrie, we hope your life together shines as bright as your love for each other. Love always wins at Starlight Meadows!

Jackie and Zenith made our meadows bloom with their joyful and whimsical wedding! The florals were made by friends with thrifted vases guests could take home. They made a stunning entrance down the star-tiled steps of our Star Pavilion and laughter rang throughout the day. The temporary tattoo station was a big hit!

In less than 2 weeks the 2024 Redfellow Music Festival will light up Starlight Meadows in Bothell! We received 58 artist applications this year and cherry-picked 10 artists/bands for our performance line up. These rising star musicians are amazing! Tickets are still available, and gorgeous weather is forecasted. See you there?

Sometimes the Big Event is a Small Event, where intimate moments and personal details are celebrated. Nicole and Brady created a beautiful day for their 20 guests and our meadows rang with laughter and the music of their love. We adored Nicole's dress from Etsy, and the first dance was "Bridgerton" style -- so unexpected and beautiful it took our breath away! Nicole and Brady learned the Regency era steps from a video and practiced for 6 months! Nicole and Brady, thank you for choosing us; we hope all your dreams continue to come true!

Emily and Ryan stole our hearts yesterday as their love and personalities shone through the cloudy/misty day. From a surprise visit from their steel drum band, the delightful vintage postcard collection they used as table numbers, to the sweet and romantic floral choices, the day could not have been more special and personal. E & R used gold chargers and brass candlesticks from our Starlight Store, and her mom made all the desserts to create a sumptuous dessert bar. We loved how the massive floral display could be moved from the ceremony to adorn the sweetheart table for the reception. Emily and Ryan, thank you for choosing us; we hope all your dreams continue to come true!

Jesse and Hank brought their curated and unique style to our meadows along with delightful friends and family; the day felt like it had a bit of fairy dust sprinkled on it. Jessie had dear friends create the florals, chose a warm summer color pallete, and paired them with her eclectic collection of candlesticks and vases. She added our chargers and vintage glass goblets, and chose 2 of our antique furniture vignettes to create unexpected and iconic photo moments. We loved how many of her friends posed for photos in our quirky meadow bathtub. Jessie and Hank, thank you for choosing us; we wish for you a life of continued joy!

Tim and Katy brought sunny spirits to their very wet wedding day, and despite intermittent downpours made the most of a love and laughter-filled day. The Starlight Meadows team worked hard to transform the Star Pavilion reception space into an intimate and dreamy ceremony spot to keep guests dry and create beautiful photos. Our 1938 Chevy delivered Katy over the wet meadows to the ceremony and the guests enjoyed Tim and Katy's elegant style and many personal touches. Even our "dry" river rock bed filled with rain water to create a uniquely PNW moment. Tim and Katy, we hope your future together is filled with many sunny days to match your beautiful spirits; thank you for choosing us!

The stars aligned to create the perfect Summer day for Nicole and Brenden's wedding. Music and laughter echoed through our meadows as guests played yard games, gathered at the fire pit for s'mores, and danced to one of the best music mixes we've heard in a long time. We had so much fun at Kirin and Andrew's wedding we feel a bit "kilty" about it. Kirin wrapped our meadows in a beautiful lilac and cobalt color scheme and wore a glorious lilac train, while Andrew wowed in a dashing Scottish kilt. The rain only lasted for the duration of the 25 minute ceremony; we handed out white umbrellas to keep guests dry, and everyone was smiling when the sun came out for the reception. We are thankful for the beautiful (although a bit chilly) evening, and hope Kirin and Andrew live happily ever after!

Nicole and Hunter brought sunshine to our meadows and to our hearts last Saturday. Their love shone brightly on the toasty 80 degree day through the sunflowers they chose and the many extras created to delight their guests. Nephew Robbie isn't walking yet, but he was still the proud ring-bearer when he drove up in white, kid-sized remote-controlled Jeep to deliver the rings. Joy and laughter rang through our meadows all afternoon! Nicole and Hunter, we hope all your days together are sunny and filled with love.

We just received early professional photos of Marlee and Renee's wedding, and are SO blown away we have to share them.
