Homegrown Dahlia

Very proud of these beauties blooming over the last month. I’ve been dabbling with growing my own flowers for a few years just in the garden and I LOVE IT. I feel like I’ve really caught the growing bug recently and am working on a project next year to do more… hopefully 🙏

I think there is something so special about British Grown Flowers… the textures, colours, seasonality, wonky stems all add to the intrigue and magic.

I know, I know… sounds wild! But listen up👇

✨ Seasonality and availability means that we can’t guarantee specific flowers. And we’d wouldn’t want to disappoint you.
(If you do have specific flowers in mind please discuss it with your floral designer)

Instead focus on….

✨ overall vibe and aesthetic of the place. Eg romantic, whimsical English country garden

✨ colour palette… what do you find beautiful? What are you attracted to? What suits the season?

As the bride/groom you are not expected to know flower names or what’s in season or which flowers look beautiful next to each other… that’s where I come in.

Had a slow start to the year on socials because I’ve been taking some time for myself and that included spending some time in stunning Paris and Rouen.
What a treat! ✨
Being surrounded by so much beauty, I feel more excited, creative and driven for the year ahead with Mabel & Rose Floral Design… so watch this space ✨

Also.. side note.. the food! Oh the food! Unreal.. I want to go back for the food…

✨Story Time … 👇👇👇✨

5 years ago I married my best friend and had the most magical wedding day. Our vision was brought to life through love, joy, laughter and surrounded by friends & family.
The past 5 years has definitely been a rollercoaster ride (to say the least) but as we sit here reminiscing about all the experiences we’ve been on I’m so grateful for where we are now.

I was so fortunate that my grandma kindly created all our wedding flowers and inspired me to start Mabel & Rose Floral Design (although I didn’t know it at the time) ✨
