Will you see shadow figures or doors closing? Will you hear gates' rattle or footsteps, even loud bangs and whistles? Watch out for the spirit pick pocketer. On our previous visits , we heard voices, saw shadow figures, and had amazing interactions with equipment and guests. With so much reported activity, it's not one to miss!!

History.
Coldharbour is one of the oldest woollen Mills in the UK. In continuous production since 1797. Owned originally by the Fox brothers. Originally a mill for corn or grist. Now a working wool museum. Spread across 12 acres stands a Victorian woollen mill and boiler, steam engines, air raid shelter, Mill pond and water mill. With the mill operating during the Georgian times, you can imagine the harsh working conditions for workers including children.

Once a Benedictine Monastery is now a museum. A Grade 1 listed building, located in Exeter city centre.

St. Nicholas Priory, a Benedictine monastery, was founded in 1087. In the 12th and 13th centuries, the Priory gathered gifts of land and property, and new monastic buildings were erected as funds permitted. Monks provided hospitality for pilgrims and other travellers with accommodation for important guests. The Priory had a very important and lively life within the city until the dissolution of the smaller monasteries by King Henry VIII in 1536, when the monks were pensioned off and their church and cloisters were pulled down. Between 1575 and 1602, the building was turned into an impressive Elizabethan townhouse. The priory was brought in 1913 to restore it to show the original monastic architecture and opened it in 1916 as a small museum. Today, I am still serving as a museum, furnished as an Elizabethan townhouse.

History
Wymering Manor is a grade ll listed building, the oldest in the city of Portsmouth, England. It was the Manor House of Wymering, a settlement mentioned in the Domesday book of 1086. It is first recorded in 1042, when it was owned by King Edward the Confessor. After the battle of Hastings, it became the property of King William the Conqueror until 1084. The majority of the current building is the 16th century in construction. However, there still exists parts that contain roman and medieval materials. The cellars are reputedly Saxon in origin. The early origins of the site are supported by the archaeology of the area that implies that the area has been inhabited since at least the Roman period.

Now with access to the whole building we are excited to return so why not join Dark Shadows for a sleepover at this haunted pub!

Your night will include;
Paranormal investigation, free time, sleepover refreshments throughout the evening & pastries in the morning!

Paranormal Activity:
Glasses smashing, heavy candles moving, unexplained footsteps, sound of crying, piano playing on its own, and much more. The ladies toilets said to be the most active areas. Shadows seen day and night! Will you see the soldier or the young girl who was seen by staff? One was so shaken up after an encounter with her she quit her job! On our last visit, we had a great spirit box session in the ladies, interaction with equipment, and knocking on command and the feeling of being watched.

History;
The Four Crosses was originally built in 1636 using shipping timbers, which date back hundreds of years!! Secret passages have been discovered throughout the years. There have been several finds in this building, and perhaps the most astonishing one has been the Old Coachman’s uniform, which has been preserved for over 150 years behind the chimney.

There have been many reports of deaths here over the years, including several suicides. In the 80s, a young boy ran out into the road and was killed instantly. A young baby died after falling from a table in the upper bar area in the 1800s.

With everything that has happened here, it is no wonder this location is so haunted!!

History
HMP Shepton Mallet, sometimes known as Cornhill, is a former prison located in Shepton Mallet, England. It closed in 2013 and was the UK’s oldest operating prison. Before closure, Shepton Mallet was a category C lifer that held 189 prisoners.
The prison was opened before 1625 and was expanded in 1790. Between the 1820s and 1830s, a treadwill was installed for those sentenced to hard labour. In 1843, the number of cells was increased by adding a second storey to each wing. The prison was damaged during a fire in 1904. In 1930, the number of inmates had fallen, and the prison was closed.
In 1939, the prison was reopened as a military prison after the second war war broke out. It was initially used by the British army but later by American forces who constructed a new ex*****on block to hang condemned prisoners. It was also used for the storage of important historical documents, including The Doomsday Book. It was returned to civilian use in 1966.
The Kray twins, Ronnie & Reggie, famous London Gangsters were held in Shepton Mallet in the early 1950s after they deserted the British Army.

History
Rifles Museum known as The Wardrobe is a beautiful grade 2 listed building. The current building dates back to the 15th century and was used to store the robes of the bishop of sailsbury which is where it's name The Wardrobe/Rifles comes from, however this wasn't the first building on this site. The orginal building was constructed in 1254 to become the residence of one of the canons who served Salisbury cathedral. Later being let out to non clerical tenants. Big changes were made in the 18th century by the Coles family. They divided the upper and lower halls, Including forming a dining room, staircase hall, dining room and entrance hall the layout you see today.
Several people resided here including a doctor who's grand daughter was born and passed here in 1941. The building was later used during the 2nd world war as a hostel of the auxillary territory service before it became a training college for school mistresses with accommodation until 1969 when the building was left to fall into disrepair. After negotiations, a 99 year lease and financial donations. The Wardrobe opened in 1981 as the museum. Housing over 65,000 items such as documents, artefacts and other items connected with the former regiments.
