NEW MIX OUT BY Elfenberg

We continue with the E P I S O D E S mix series and the second mix of the year is from none other than Elfenberg. I got to know Viktor from Elfenberg many years ago when I booked them as a duo for one of my parties. I had been a fan for a couple of years before I knew they were actually Swedish. Like so many others, I had heard their remix on "Sinere" by rBert and had seen them release songs on Stil Vor Talent. When I dug deeper, I realized that they were Swedes. Since then I have booked them many times and played together with them at the same parties. There are few acts, DJs and producers from Stockholm that I respect as much as Elfenberg. The sound they have delivered is always pushing forward and developing. Now the duo has become a solo act where Viktor Elfqvist stands alone as Elfenberg and it is from him that our second EPISODES mix comes. The mix feels like a modern interpretation of techno, house and acid from the 90s. The mix has bits in it reminiscent of songs from legends like Orbital, The Orb and Underworld. It is beautiful and dreamy but at the same time hard with a clear drive forward. It mixes sounds from the old and the new with songs and breaks perfect for sunrise sets at a forest rave or industrial basement parties. It feels new and fresh for a modern era that salutes the past. I'm in love with this mix and look forward to more parties with Viktor aka Elfenberg on the line up. Thank you my friend for this amazing mix. You are an alien among ordinary humans and i am very excited to follow you on your new solo journey.

This 60 minute mix, curated by the magnificent groovy overlords Miss E and Jan Vall, is the ultimate soundtrack for interstellar travel and dance. It is a mixture of pure space disco that takes you straight to a neverending dancefloor on Alpha Centauri, never to return. It just might be the answer to the ultimate question about life, the universe, and everything. That's how I feel when I listen to it! All that is dark and bad with this period of time promptly vanishes in a puff of logic.

New mix out now by the one and only Fabian Tanz.

If i could redo the soundtrack to the movie The Beach, this would be it! It is the perfect mix of something deep and dark, something easy and bright and something beautiful and evil. A perfect balance between yin and yang. It affects me in so many different ways I don't even know where to begin. It makes me wanna cry, travel the world and explore cities i never visited. Tell my 95 year old grandmother I love her and that everything is going to be ok. It makes me longing for sweaty dance floors and connecting with new people. This is the impact Fabian Tanz has! Tillåt mig att introducera mig själv! Jag har arrangerat fester sedan lågstadiet och har bara fortsatt köra på den linan. I början av 2000-talet började jag arrangera klubbar seriöst och har sedan sju år gjort det på heltid. Har dj:at och producerat musik lika länge. De senaste åren har jag kanske framförallt grundat och drivit klubben KONTAKT och festivalen DEPARTMENT. I somras var jag inblandad i det fantastiska initiativet LIMELIGHTS på Gotland med ett gäng fantastiska eldsjälar och nu startar jag E P I S O D E S.

Detta blir första steget på något nytt och jag känner mig oerhört ödmjuk över att så många visar intresse. Vilka fantastiska människor ni är och det ska bli sjukt kul att se er alla nu på lördag. Tack 🥰

SEBJAK & Fahlberg är utan tvekan en av Sveriges bäst bevarade hemligheter inom house och melodic techno. Under flera år har duon producerat material som spelats av världens största namn. Låtar som Chaka, 4ever She May Live & Regarde Moi som släppts på egna labeln Bibliothèque Records har spelats av Solomun, Dixon & DJ Koze för att bara nämna några. Jag har bokat dem många gånger de senaste åren och nere på Limelights på Gotland levererade de kanske det bästa setet jag hört. Sebjak & Fahlberg är ett namn som håller på att explodera!

Den fantastiska Fabian Tanz har delat med sig av lycka i flera års tid och vandrar en perfekt balanserad väg mellan galenskap och harmoni. Något som också utövas i praktiken när Fabian levererar sina dj sets och kanske framförallt när han bjuder in till sitt egna dansmecka Tanz Oaze. Förutom att spela på hemmaplan har den orangea beduinen hunnit med att spela på bl.a. Garbicz Festival, Burning Man, Borderland och ADE.

Träffade Petrina Hinas från HIGHTS för första gången under Limelights på Gotland i somras. Kändes lite som att man känt henne hela livet. Passion, gehör, känsla och skicklighet i ett och samma paket. Det är inte ofta det händer. Att spela B2B på Limelights kändes helt naturligt. Därför känns det ännu mera naturligt att ha med henne som en del av första omgången av E P I S O D E S.
