🌲✨️ D&A's elopement was nothing short of magical ✨️🌲 Just look at this weather. All the way back in April we hit the jackpot with possibly the sunniest day to elope on in the Scottish Highlands.

Scottish Highlands is my absolutely favourite place in all of the UK. Can't wait to go back there to capture more love ✨️🌲

B&W ceremony love because why not 🖤 when planning your seating for the ceremony I recommend filling your front row with your nearest and dearest aka your MOH/BM your parents / siblings. Try not to leave them empty as that's what you'll see in all your ceremony photos 🤍

On the morning of their wedding, we could see all the little new born lambs hopping around from the bridal suite - of course we had to try incorporate them into the pictures 🐑 Also featuring all the beautiful details of the day and the whimsical flowers by @ which transformed the room 😍 Any other potter heads here? 🤩⚡️

I've been away from posting 'properly' for a while because to be honest, I find social media a little bit overwhelming sometimes along with the need to be 'always relevant and always posting' adding a lot of pressure. I love being a part of all the magical, loved up wedding days, it truly is the best job in the world. Our season has now fully kicked off and I couldn't be more excited to be photographing all of our lovely couples this year! It's a big one! This week we're heading to two awesome weddings and later this month we're capturing an elopement in one of our fave spots - Glencoe. 🤩⛰️
Get yourself a quality hype team 🫡🤩 Yes we do take group photos as well on the day if that's something important to you 😇 Our pro tip is try to limit your 'set up' groups to 10-15 max so that you don't stand around for over an hour waiting for these to be done! We know you want photos with your nearest and dearest and we can snap them as we go through the day in more natural setting when you're chatting/hugging/laughing/crying/doing shots. If you do settle on having a large number of group photos, do make sure it fits within your timeline of the day so you don't feel rushed to move onto another step. A good rule of thumb is 3 minutes per photo so you can do the math 😉 Do we prefer sticking to the 10-15 and then moving onto the fun natural photos? yes! BUT we will always accommodate as many photos as you'd like (be it 20/30/40 - even one with every single guest, yes we've been asked that before!) since we're there FOR YOU, don't ever be afraid to ask us to take another one with someone else, our guide is just a suggestion but in reality everyone has different expectations and priorities and we are there to make your vision a reality 💕 IT'S YOUR DAY, HAVE IT YOUR WAY 🩷

personally i love the idea of a slow wedding with people just being able to chill out, have a drink on the grass, enjoy each others company 🌳 (before the wild party begins in the night 🤭🤫
A pop of colour for you all on our feed. Even when it's raining we can capture some amazing photos that aren't just 'all grey'. But hey even if they need to be all grey, black and white magic never fails in making them feel really timeless ❤️ Point is - don't stress about the weather on your day, it all comes down to you having fun, everything else will just fall into place!
I bloody love confetti. And confetti photos that are *full* of love, colourful pieces of paper (ironic since this pic is in b&w), people who are nearest and dearest just cheering you on.
Confetti tends to be a big hiccup for a lot of venues as it turns out so make sure you check with yours if and where you're allowed to use it. Our absolute favourite is paper confetti over foil or flower petals anyday. It just looks bomb.

Those who have been following us for a while know that I'm a sucker for the details and I love photographing them on the morning.
Your rings, shoes, accessories, flowers and maybe even perfume - you've selected them all so carefully so they deserve their own little moment.
Pro tip: get all your details ready before the big day in one box/bad so they're all ready for your photographer to grab and photograph before you put them on 🤗💖✨️
💕 MARQUEE weddings hit differently, especially when you get a good band, amazing lighting and a bunch of people who love to PARTY. Need we say more?
