✨it feels surreal to think that it’s been almost 3 months since we started our journey 💕 we were sitting on the bed and just….DECIDED to go for it after talking about it for months 🙌🏽 we had no idea what we were doing and there were so many moving pieces all whilst maintaining our full time jobs…but we kept going.

🌸 fast forward to today, and we’ve already executed 7 successful picnics 😍I’m feeling incredibly proud of us and can’t wait to continue & grow, and to see what the future has in store for us!! 🎉

✨ surprised htoo paing with a picnic for his birthday! 🤗 they were once walking by one of our setups and htoo had mentioned to her that he’d love to experience this, so katja surprised him with a gup shup experience for his birthday! 💕how thoughtful and sweet!! we had so much fun doing this setup because of the beautiful location and scenery - it was so peaceful and quiet since it was a weekday! 🌈🌸 and htoo were such a delight to host and we can’t wait to have them again!! 😌

✨there are so many beautiful parks in and around the boston area, but there is something so peaceful and relaxing about the north point park. it’s away from the hustle bustle of downtown and the crowds of the city, which makes it an ideal picnic date spot with views 😍 it’s also perfect for families with kids - there’s so many playgrounds nearby which provides even more relaxation time for the grown ups ☀️🌸🌈 what do you think?! tell us in comments which boston park is your favorite and why!! we’d love to discover new parks and maybe even add them to our catalog! 👀

✨when we’re setting up for our picnics in the Boston parks, we get a lot of curious looks 👀 and questions about what we’re up to! we love interacting with everyone, especially kids and pets (the most curious ones), as this gives us an opportunity to share our story. after learning about us, most people agree that it’s exhausting to do the prep work for a picnic…and that they’d 100% pay us to do this eye-catching setup for their picnic day out! 😍one thing we’re particularly proud of is our trash is kept to a minimum. this allows for the to remain clean and pristine - as they should be! 🌳☀️🌸

✨the little details that you can see throughout our picnic setup are all intentional. for instance, these hand-made and hand-painted decorative rickshaws from Pakistan. these so deeply represent our culture and personally our memories of growing up. not only in Pakistan, but in many South Asian countries, this is a common mode of transportation for the masses. you may also have heard it being referred to as the tuk-tuk. and it’s so fun to ride! but more importantly, it is also an honest and hard earning for the rickshaw drivers who spend their day riding their customers around.

of course a picnic is incomplete without the chai, but it’s these little details that aren’t so little and add a LOT more to the experience that we offer. we’re so proud of what we’ve accomplished so far. we are excited to continue to grow this venture so we can make the largest impact possible within our communities locally here in Boston as well as back in Pakistan. 💕🇵🇰🇺🇸
