Khorkhog 🇲🇳 (Mongolian: Xopxoг) is a barbecue dish in Mongolian cuisine..

Khorkhog is made by cooking pieces of meat and vegetables inside a container which also contains hot stones and water. The use of the stones helps distribute the heat around more, which cooks it more intensely.

Khorkhog is usually made on a special occasions. Here is a snippet of our tender and juicy Lamb Khorkhog from our supper club last month. Using real stones from Mongolia this dish blew our customers away and we are looking forward to making it again! ✨

Buuz have all the elements of Mongolian cooking wrapped into one dumpling. They’re usually made with fatty mutton, as is most food in Mongolia. They’re also simply spiced, so the flavors of the meat shine through.
