Hello Fam. Howard University School of Social Work has a student internship program. The Workforce Development Community Leaders program is a program for high school seniors in which the students are given an opportunity to take college level courses, pursue training and certificates, shadow different people on the job, and receive mentoring and coaching to help them prepare for this upcoming June when they graduate high school and enter the world.
In need of clear fashionable book bags, computer bags and or purses for high school students- Charles Flowers High School. Also I need individuals who are willing to come to Howard University School of Social work Tuesday & Thursday, to be a guest speaker about what you do for a living, what type of training and or education you needed to get there and how you enjoy your life.
Please DM if you have a high school senior you’d like to join the program and or if you can donate your time as a mentor or speaker, have students shadow you or if you’d like to contribute by sponsoring a student or donating to the program.
It is our goal to be able to pay for any certification or course fees needed, help students pay for senior fees, pay for public transportation to get to Howard’s campus twice a week and raise funds to crack student a stipend after completion of each semester.
