WINTER SUPPER CLUB POSTPONED:

I hope you're all having a great start to your week, countdown to xmas is really on now! Unfortunately due to unforeseen circumstances I am sadly going to have to postpone the Winter Supper Club this Saturday 11th December 2021. I want to thank everyone that booked tickets for your support, I really hope you still have a lovely weekend and manage to arrange something else that is fabulous and festive for Saturday evening! I have emailed you all individually, but all tickets have been fully refunded. Please get in touch if you have any questions at all.

I do not have a rescheduled date just yet, but I do hope you will all come along to future Around the Table supper clubs in the New Year. Around the Table is also available to book private events, functions and dinner parties, so if you have any special occasions or want a unique dining experience in your own home in the New Year then do get in touch.

Here's your shiny new supper club menu for this Saturday! With all of us putting summer 'olidays on hold this year, I'm hoping to transport you from Jesmond to a coastal staycation at the seaside.... Sit back, relax and open a bottle of something chilled to accompany this next one:

North Sea Langoustine on Ice, Homemade Lemon and Garlic Aioli, Lemon Wedges, Freshly Baked Bread.

Side of Salmon En Croute – golden flaky pastry, garden herb salsa verde and creamy basil sauce.

Seasonal Saturday Supper Club - July.

Pre-dinner Nibbles:

A Taste of Mediterranean Summer – wrapped up in a selection of two flavours:

rich tomato + green olives + feta

green pesto + kalamata olives + parmesan

Both encased in swirls of buttery, flaky pastry and fresh herbs from my little Jesmond garden.

(Perfectly paired with a refreshing G&T, garnished with cucumber, rosemary or citrus fruits)

Main:

Slow-roasted Northumbrian Lamb OR Spiced Roast Cauliflower

Homemade garden three-mint salsa verde (grapefruit mint, apple mint and black pepper mint), fresh nectarine and sun-ripened tomato salsa, spiced couscous, pomegranate, herbs and toasted nuts.

Pudding:

Sunshine in a Pot – fresh zingy layers of homemade lemon curd and lemon posset topped with ginger hazelnut crumb and British strawberries.

NEW SEASONAL JESMOND SUPPER CLUB DELIVERED TO YOUR DOOR!

Good morning!!

So the day has finally arrived to announce the launch of Around The Table, a new approach to catering and dining in Newcastle that celebrates the magical ability of eating, feasting and grazing to bring people together 'around the table'!

The ritual of dining three-times a day means so much more than just re-fuelling, it's a chance to make memories, share stories and just be with others whilst enjoying some delicious food! We want to harness these special moments in our catering services, whether that's....

– a private dinner for you and your loved ones in the comfort of your own home without the hassle, allowing you to relax and enjoy the evening (we'll even do the washing up!)

– a canapé party, serving delicious miniature mouthfuls to celebrate a special occasion, network with colleagues or spruce up a Hen Party!

– a special brunch, dress code of PJs and whether the brunch is bottomless or not it totally up to you!

– and more!!

BUT NOW the most pressing date for the calendar is our first Around The Table Supper Club next Saturday 11th July!

This Saturday Supper Club will celebrate the best of the season's ingredients, using the North East's abundant pantry of local produce whenever possible.

Your brown paper package tied up with string will include:
– nibbles to enjoy with a pre-dinner drink (we would recommend a refreshing G&T)
– a wholesome main that defines summer dining with a vegetarian alternative
– a delicious dessert that'll transport you to long, hazy days of sunshine
– a July handbook, including the full menu and ingredient sourcing, recommendations to make the most of the month and a whole host of nice things to put a smile on your face!

All this can be enjoyed in the comfort of your own home, via a contactless delivery to doorsteps in Jesmond ONLY.

The July Supper Club is £17.50 per person.

Payment can be made either via BACS transfer (preferred method) or if this is not possible I can take cash payments too (just pop it on the doorstep after you've collected your package of goodies, I won't be able to offer change sorry!).

All bookings and BACS payments must be made by 3pm on Thursday 9th July.
