Style is a very personal thing so when I was asked to make a bouquet that was wild, weird, wonderful and full of grasses I was in my element. The feedback from the special lady who received them as a gift: “"They're the most beautiful flowers I have ever gotten"🌸 Got to love summer time and flowers 🌸 🌸🌸

The season is really starting to take off despite the lack of rain and so much sunshine. Flower farming is so different every year with changes in weather a constant. Doing my bit here at dris flowers by using organic no dig methods to grow flowers from seed. Supporting local biodiversity with lots of meadow space.

The lupins are here! I love this colour lupin with its soft peachy pink. Lupins have been my surprise love of cut flowers. I grew up seeing them in so many gardens never fully appreciating the amazing variety of colour and intricate detail of their petals. So looking forward to working with these over the next few weeks as they gather blooming pace.

It is wedding weekend for dris flower farm again. I am so excited. The brief is beautiful, wild and colourful. Very different from the muted, elegant tones of the wedding I did in the photo which was in March a very different season and different brief. It is so much fun designing the flowers to reflect the wedding party personality. To be able to do it with my own local grown, organic flowers makes it all the more satisfying.
I am taking bookings for wedding for 2023 season. If you would like to enquire please send me a dm here or drop me a text or message me on the chat tool on my website link in the bio. 🌸💕🌸💕

The next phase in the summer garden has arrived. Delphinium blue, cosmos apricotta, glorious smelling sweetpea, crazy daisies and a dollop of Egyptian mint. On their way to this morning. The flowers will last a good week in a vase just change the after daily and snip the stems every few days. No need for food. All flowers are grown on by me from seed using organic and no dig methods with not a chemical in sight. Flower packaging is completely compostable.

Sustainable floristry is very important to me. It is why I started dris flower farm in the first place.

I am getting ready for a wedding and wanted to check out using alternatives for flower arranging. Using Irish cucumber (hoping to grow my own one day) and some moss from the farm, both have provided a stable platform and a source of moisture. I think it worked out pretty good. What do you use for your floristry, would love to hear your tips. (Mug with the roses is from )
