Our Saturday afternoon visit to @imaginator_au
We’d been before but just like the first time we went, we had a great time.
The big jump into an inflatable pillow is something new. I am so proud of my 7 year old. It took her 6 times of walking up the stairs and chickening out before she actually took the leap into the pillow. She is a bit of a scaredy cat when it comes to heights. But the staff were amazing with her, breathing through her nerves, encouraging her but letting her say no and telling her to come back to try again and then gave her a sticker to say well done once she did it. She ended up going back up a few more times to jump and thought it was great.
My almost 5 year old loved the steep slide, was too short to do the jump and thought the AI man named Adam was hilarious. She had a conversation with him about starting prep and how it is her birthday in 3 weeks. She thought the whole place was awesome.
My ball obsessed 2 year old loved pushing around the light up globe, running through the strands of light, went down the slide like a pro and built a huge tower with the blocks. He was unsure in the beginning as he stepped into a room or mirror but didn’t want to leave in the end.
It’s one of those places where you make what you want from it. We spent just over an hour in the experience but definitely could see and try all the attractions in less time.
If you want a school holiday activity that is inside this week (because apparently there is more rain coming) then defs go check it out!
Flashback Friday. Take a look at our event in just over 10 seconds.
