What is Silent Connections? ❤️ This is a unique event to meet singles.

The space is created for you to feel really safe to remove the facade of protection you walk through the world with, and let your true self shine through, while gently guiding you towards fulfilling connections.

This is a space to inhabit your body in its fullness and feel the aliveness of yourself while experiencing the potentiality of vibrant human connection.

This is not the flat lifeless world of screens, and apps!

We all desire authentic nourishing connections in our lives, and the only way to attract that kind of connection is the willingness to be seen for our authenticity.

With each participant you will share a connecting exercise of some kind, that ranges from the deep to the hilarious! The nights are always filled with an abundance of laughter, joy, and nourishing connection.

From the facilitator, Nina:
"Silent Connections is a particularly special event to me. I get to witness the incredible journey folks go on from start to finish, where one arrives in their protected, guarded, uneasy state, to blossoming into true joy, expression, courage and connection! This experience moves me every time."

Nina comes from a Taoist yogic background merged with a path of performance, expression, acting, embodiment, art and creativity. She is turned on by life, simply waking up in the morning, and desires to activate this in others. One of her greatest joys is creating safe spaces for folks to soften to let their truth self shine through. She does this in the various diverse spaces that she holds, through events, coaching and facilitation.

💜At our events, more than ever, we are hearing things like: "Oh, I didn't know how much I needed this!" "After working alone this week, this event was exactly what I needed in my life!" "I will never use dating apps again!" We have been reflecting upon the frequency of which we are hearing these kinds of sentiments.

Before COVID connection just happened. We took it for granted. We didn't think too much about it. Since COVID, the merging of more and more tech in our lives, and the switch to working online and at home, we are having far less human - to human connection. 💻

And, what we know, is connection becomes so much more nourishing when we feel at ease to be our authentic self! At the core of these events, we are passionate about providing a held, safe place, where your authentic expression is encouraged. We delight in knowing you feel safe to be seen, heard and felt. And, in allowing your authentic self to come through, we provide a space for you to explore meaningful human connection! This is where meaningful human connection thrives, when people feel safe to be themselves, while feeling seen, heard and accepted. 🥰

In this space we provide an opportunity to slow down, and learn to delight in the simplicity of paying attention. Too much goodness is being missed beside the busyness.

The unbalanced world we live in doesn’t encourage the slowing down, the noticing, the witnessing. There’s too many places to be, and obligations to fulfil. We don't see the simple unfolding moments of life that could hold so much delight.

In some ways we are starting a revolution for love, that comes in a package of small delights: the gaze of a beloved, the sweeping grace of a spring, the warmth of lips on lips, the kind smile of a stranger, the song of Tui on a Monday morning, the unfurling of a flower to meet the hum of a summer bee, the change of a season, the falling laughter from one you love.

If you can do one thing this week, find a moment to slow down, and notice something simple to delight in.
