An open letter to everyone who I’ve met or worked with in the last three years:

First, thank you. From the bottom of my heart. Thank you for every single kind word you’ve said to me, all of the once in a lifetime experiences, and the memories that will last a lifetime.

Willoweddings came to Texas in February 2021. In that time I went to school and earned my undergrad in business, got pregnant with and had my second son, celebrated over 300 weddings, I experienced the gift of life & the heartache of death with clients, I’ve learned about healthy partnerships and the toxic ones, some of my professional relationships turned into lifelong friends, I found confidence in who I am, and most recently I experienced betrayal and heartbreak. SO many ups & downs. I haven’t posted on social media in 8 months. The reason being is my family was broken, I lost myself, and I barely managed to operate day to day. But this business, really this industry, saved my life. I still had hope.

I’m writing this message today to share a more vulnerable side of me. My soul is on fire for MORE weddings, MORE partnerships, MORE unique concepts, and MORE of you! I am so excited to step into 2024 feeling fresh. Don’t get me wrong, I’m burnt out but I will not let that feeling drive me or my business down.

So here’s to the new year! Let’s make this one unreal 🫶🥂

We are actively seeking candidates with a passion to meet our clients wedding day expectations. This person enjoys working with others and strives to provide the best possible experience for their guests. A Wedding Coordinator enjoys detailed work and getting things done right. A Wedding Coordinator is confident in their ability to communicate with co-workers and guests. You will learn to manage and execute a wedding day timeline, learn to dissolve problems that may arise at an event, and understand the expectations that our clients have of our team. The goal for this position is for the right candidate to grow into a Lead Coordinator role by September 2022.

Our ideal candidate possesses the following qualifications:

• Takes extreme ownership of their responsibilities
• Is enthusiastic about helping our clients
• Is detail-oriented in all tasks
• Is confident in their abilities to lead and take initiative
• Is an excellent communicator with a positive attitude

Major Tasks and Key Responsibilities:

• Assist Lead Coordinator with tasks on wedding day
• Opportunity to oversee ceremony and reception
• Communicate with vendors during an event
• Maintain venue cleanliness at all times

Job Overview and Requirements:

• Location: DFW Metroplex
• Job Hours: Contracted, Part-Time, 30-day notice for all events
• Pay: $20/hour
• Required Education: High School Diploma or equivalent. Certificate or degree in hospitality and/or events preferred (but not required).
• Required Experience: Events/wedding industry experience preferred (but not required).
• Physical Requirements: Able to lift 20-30 lbs frequently, stand/walk 8-12 hours.
• Other: Minimum 18 years of age, legal to work in the US, reliable transportation required

*Opportunity to grow into full operations/Lead Coordinator available for interested candidates*
*This is a contracted 1099 position. Full time work not available at this time.
