Good evening, friends!
It’s been a little while, and I’ve truly missed connecting with you all. I wanted to take a moment to share an exciting update and the heart behind where we’re headed with Active Kidz.
When I first launched Active Kidz, it was out of a desire to meet a real need in our community. Not long after getting started, I faced some unexpected health challenges that required me to pause operations. While it was a tough decision, that pause turned out to be a blessing in disguise. It gave me the time and space to reflect, pray, and dream about what truly matters — and how I can best serve families like mine.
Originally, my plan was to transition from pop-up parties to a brick-and-mortar play café — something I’ve been passionate about for over a decade. But as I’ve watched the industry evolve and considered how our own family has grown (hello, tweens and teens!), it became clear that a different path was unfolding.
I’ve noticed that while there are so many great options for younger kids, our older kids — especially tweens and teens — often get left out. And as a homeschooling family for the past five years, I’ve also seen the need for quality sports and arts opportunities that are accessible and encouraging for homeschoolers.
That’s why I’m so thrilled to announce that starting Fall 2025, Active Kidz will begin offering sports and arts classes designed specifically with our community in mind! These programs will be affordable, well-organized, and focused on creating positive, enriching experiences for kids — especially our big kids.
But that’s not all! We’ll also be hosting fun, meaningful events geared toward tweens and teens, giving them a space to connect, create, and be active together.
Over the next month, we’ll be updating our website and social media to reflect this exciting new direction. Our mission is simple: to get kids active and engaged through in-person connection and community — and we can’t wait to take this next step with you.
Thank you for being here. We’re so excited to share more very soon!
With gratitude and excitement,
Chelsea Miles
