Bicycle Day: The only holiday that started with a Swiss chemist, the world's first acid trip, and a very strange bike ride home. 🚲🧪

The year was 1943. While the world was deep in the throes of war and splitting the atom, Albert Hofmann was in his lab accidentally unlocking something very different — a molecule that would go on to expand minds, fuel countercultures, and inspire generations of art, music, and psychedelic exploration. 🌍✨

The official holiday’s tomorrow, but we’re getting weird tonight, 4/18, and celebrating the spirit of Albert Hoffman's world-changing discovery the best way we know how: shapeshifting music, epic visuals, and a dance floor full of strange, beautiful humans tuned into the same wavelength under one roof. 🌀🎶💃

📣 5/10 lineup update — While we were looking forward to welcoming Visages to Phoenix on 5/10 for their Arizona debut supporting , a visa delay has forced them to postpone their May shows, including ours. We’ll be working to reschedule with them as soon as possible. 💙

Stepping in to fill the gap is none other than , an icon of the electronic scene known for his genre-flexing style and decades-long influence on drum & bass, jungle, footwork, and experimental bass music. Having played both the Where?House and June Jam in the past couple of years, he returns to Phoenix with a sound that’s fast-moving, emotionally charged, and wired for the dancefloor.

We’re also hyped to add established AZ selectors and .xsounds_ to the lineup, setting a deep and rolling tone for this night with the Walter, idgaFNK, and June Jam crews. 🔊

Celebrating a decade at the forefront of bass music, SHADES—the pioneering collaboration between Alix Perez (Belgium/NZ) and Eprom (USA)—continues to redefine sound system culture with their boundary-pushing productions and immersive live shows. Following acclaimed releases on 1985 Music and Alpha Pup, SHADES now embarks on their highly anticipated "The Lower World" tour, delivering a wave of dark, heavy-hitting bass that nods to the golden era of gluttonous bass and synths with modern precision.

Joining SHADES is Visages, the dynamic four-piece collective from Toulouse, France. Drawing from a wide range of influences — from soulful drum & bass to deep dubstep — Visages quickly made their mark as a key presence on Alix Perez’s 1985 Music imprint. With a love of club music that stretches back to the early 80s, LTJ Bukem began his career at the dawn of the DnB scene and played a pivotal role in moving the genre out from small UK venues and onto the international stage. Bringing a light and groove-centric flavor in his interpretation of the genre, he's curated a widespread fanbase through the decades while building an impressive portfolio of original works, collaborations, remixes, and performances, thus cementing his cult-like status in DnB scenes around the world.
