Fun(ky) Ghent & Brussels based collective by residents Kairos & Safé 🌻🌪 Umtzi Bumtzi represents a joke gone too far.

Created during an intoxicated back to back DJ set somewhere in the rooftops of Ghent and quickly followed by simple-minded chortling, Umtzi Bumtzi quickly became a placeholder word and even an endearing nickname between the two creators and resident DJ’s Kairos and Safé.

2024 went by so quickly and was made so special by the people and places who joined us 💞

A huge thank you to .evb , , , , , .fuga , and for their amazing selections and of course to YOU for sharing our most treasured moments of the year with us. ☺️✨

Also thanks to for hosting two of our events, for the radio takeover and .djs for inviting us to play .fu alongside them.

And just like that, amigo is a wrap. What a ride, thank you of course to our artists, our amazing staff/care team for keeping our space as cosy as possible, to our light guys and for killing the light show, and of course to all you dancers for giving us your best until the end. What a party! We can’t wait to see you all soon again for the next one 💛
