Hello Theatre Lovers,
So, it's Dec 21st 1970 - almost fifty five years ago. You are twelve, perhaps fifteen years old and you are walking to the local cinema. You're listening to Gerry Monroe sing "My Prayer" with the single ear phone on your treasured Honeytone 6 Transistor radio. The song is number three in the top ten just the day before. You are excited to see Jenny Agutter in the lead role of Bobbie in The Railway Children. She's kind of your idol as well. You're in your new bell bottoms and everything is right with the world.

I have seen some great theatre including Broadway and the West End in my seventy five years and what I saw yesterday ranks right up there with the good stuff.
