This February, in celebration of Reggae Heritage Month, we will be honoring Jah Crucial and raising funds to support him with his medical expenses as he faces health challenges.

Today, we celebrate a true pioneer in the reggae world, JAH CRUCIAL , a trailblazer and Reggae Ambassador in South African Reggae and soundsystem culture. Inspired by the legendary Mutabaruka, Jah Crucial together with Gladdy Wailer,Ras Fanusi and Mighty Koos played a key role in the establishment of South Africa’s first soundsystem. Their Soundsystem is called CUTTING EDGE SOUNDSYSTEM. He also went on to create his own legendary platform, JAH CRUCIAL HI-FI , which further cemented his influence in the reggae movement.

Jah Crucial’s vision and passion laid the foundation for a cultural revolution that has carried the heartbeat of reggae across generations. His groundbreaking contributions to soundsystem culture have inspired countless selectors, deejays, and reggae lovers in South Africa.🔥

A man whose words, music, and unwavering spirit continue to inspire generations across the globe. More than just a musician, Peter Tosh was a revolutionary thinker, a fearless advocate for justice, and a champion of equal rights and freedom. 🌍✊🏾

Through his music, Tosh taught us **never to be boxed in or aligned with "isms" and schisms**, reminding us to rise above divisions and fight for what is right. His fearless resistance to oppression, whether in the fight for legalization or the cry for liberation, remains a beacon of strength and courage to this day. 🎶🔥

Happy Earth strong to CEDELLA MARLEY, daughter of the legendary Bob Marley, born on this day, 23 August 1967.🎉

The world first met her as a talented teenager singing and dancing with The Melody Makers, alongside her younger brothers, Ziggy and Stephen.

Today, Cedella proudly upholds her father's legacy as the CEO of Tuff Gong International, the iconic record label founded by Bob Marley in 1965. She also serves as the director of The Bob Marley Foundation, a non-profit organization dedicated to charitable work. Additionally, she manages Hope Road Merchandising, which oversees the rights to Bob’s name and likeness, and leads the Marley family’s merchandising empire, House of Marley.
