The LFDC is grateful for our continued partnership with Lincoln Parks and Recreation, and we are so excited to enter a multi-year license agreement with the City of Lincoln! 🌳 Tierra Park has some new trees! 🌳😍

The long awaited tree planting has finally happened! Thank you to Lincoln Parks & Recreation and volunteers for putting the trees in!

We will be putting some fencing around these baby trees to protect them as they grow 🌱

Yesterday, board members James Fleege, Maria Silva, and Tony Odem spent the morning with LPS Physical Education teachers to educate them on the fundamentals of disc golf! 🥏👩‍🏫 Thank you Lincoln Public Schools for allowing us to spend time with your teachers! We are excited to start seeing disc golf in our schools! 🏫

2025 Election Nominee Spotlight!

Position: President

Responsibilities:
- Re-evaluate and renew LFDC Liability Insurance
- Contact and coordinate with local clubs and agencies
- Lincoln Parks & Recreation Liaison
- Collaborate best ways to keep our courses open
- Lead for making project proposals, timelines, and budgets
- Maintain contractual obligations for non-profit incorporation
- Assist Treasurer with annual IRS report for non-profit and 501c3
- Research and apply for new funding sources
