OUR UPCOMING EVENTS HAVE BEEN CANCELLED.
Unfortunately, Carroll County's largest and beloved bunny named Simon has passed away due to heat stroke yesterday afternoon after him and his owner were on their way to visit a nursing home and collided with a car that ran a stop sign and the two were stranded outside while waiting for friends and family to pick them up from the scene of the accident. Simon was eventually rushed to Falls Road Animal Hospital where he passed with a temperature over 108° F, but was surrounded with love and family.
Simon was a popular resident in Westminster, MD where he often attended events like carnivals, Main Street parades, and the Flower & Jazz Festival. Simon was notorious for his size, weighing over 18 pounds and over 2 feet long and brought joy to people of all ages, attending birthday parties and nursing homes. Simon was just two years old.
Kennedy, Simon's owner, has created a GoFundMe. There is no pressure to donate but if you can share the fundraiser, it would mean a lot to her and her family. Thank you for the kind words and prayers.
