Hard at work or hardly working? A behind-the-scenes look at my Assistant Editor and Photo Manager, Mr. Wally Waffles! 🐾 This guy ruffly runs the show around here. He’s been busy editing photos and managing posts today—paid entirely in belly rubs and biscuits, of course.

But after this morning’s hustle, he demanded an executive walk and extra treats. 🦴 Life as a canine creative is tough, but someone’s gotta do it!

Shoutout to the hardest-working pup in the biz for keeping me on track… or at least pretending to. 😉

This Christmas, I have a simple but important wish for you. It comes from a place deep in my heart, shaped by my own experiences. Please—take a photo this year. Use your phone, your camera, whatever you have, and capture a moment with the people, pets, or things that bring you joy. Take a family photo, a selfie, or even a snapshot of your cat, your dog, or your favorite place. Make sure it’s *you* and the ones you love in the frame.

Take the photo. Don’t wait for the perfect time or the perfect circumstances. It doesn’t matter if your hair’s a mess, if you’ve gained a little weight, if your outfit isn’t what you’d hoped, or if your kids have chocolate smudges on their faces. None of that will matter later.

What *will* matter is having that moment frozen in time, to look back on when life changes—as it always does. I’ve learned this the hard way. The photos I treasure most are the ones of loved ones who are no longer here. I wish someone had told me back then, “Just take the photo.” Those images are priceless to me now, and they remind me of the joy, the love, and the life we shared.

So please, this year, make it a priority. Take the photo. You’ll never regret having those memories to hold onto. Years from now, when time has passed and life looks different, you’ll be so thankful for that little act of love.

Sweet, sweet family vibes all around! Cody and Kendall welcomed their adorable little Porter, and I had the great pleasure of capturing these glowing moments. Their love and joy truly shine through every shot. Little Porter was an absolute angel for the session—he even made the *perfect* little Santa Claus! My heart is full! I'm ❤️💕🥰😍

Ashley, Katie, Jasmine, Brittany, Athena, Austin, Jackie, and Mike—what an absolute joy it was to have you in my studio! Meeting all of you and capturing these moments was such an honor. Austin, thank you for thinking of me and bringing everyone together—you made this session unforgettable! And sharing the fur babies? That was the cherry on top!

Your patience, your understanding, and your energy made this experience truly special. What an incredible family! Each of you shines with your own s***k, charm, and unique personality, yet together, you create something so beautifully cohesive—a true masterpiece.

I’m bursting with excitement over these photos—there are so many fun moments, I could honestly share the entire album! The Croston family is truly the best! 😊 Thank you guys for being so patient with me 🙏 while i was recovering ❤️:)

So many smiles, tail wags, treats, and crazy surprises (my ribs still hurt 😂)! I seriously need a GoPro to capture all the fun. It’s always a blast and such a pleasure to take these photos, and I always look forward to them.

These boy have grown into such amazing men, and I’m so proud of them and their Parents love love love!!! Plus, the woof pack keeps expanding and getting sweeter every year. 🐾 Seriously love these puppers :)

Thank you for lifting my spirits that Sunday morning. 💕
I was feeling broken-hearted, but you all truly cheered me up with the love you share. We could have talked for hours, and I loved every story. There are still a few more photos to add to the album, but aren’t they just the sweetest?

Even their pup joined us outside, bringing all the fuzzy, warm vibes to the session—so much fun and so much love! 🐾
