Press Release- For August 14th, 2021 Concert. This is an update for 2021.

On Saturday, August 14th, at 7:00 PM, Nancy Scharff and the King of Kings Band will give a free Outdoor Christian Concert at King of Kings Lutheran Church, 250 Harmony Road, Middletown. Nancy Scharff is Music Director at the church, and the King of Kings Band is the worship band, also at the church. Nancy and the band have traveled throughout the NY-NJ area, sharing their music ministry. Nancy Scharff has traveled nationally and internationally, as a Christian concert and recording artist. For seven years, Nancy and members of the King of Kings Band gave a Christmas Concert at The Count Basie Theatre in Red Bank, NJ, which was a benefit for Love In the Name of Christ. Before Covid, they gave concerts at King of Kings every Thursday in August of 2019. When asked about this year's concert, Nancy explained: "I sense that there is a hunger for live music, especially Christian music. There is hope and comfort in each song, and we wanted to share that hope with the community." There is free parking, and people need to bring a lawn chair. Mark your calendars for August 14th at 7:00 PM! Let's rock out! The band: Nancy Scharff, vocals, guitar, Ken Carroll, vocals, guitar, Bob Marriner, bass, Mark Nettleingham, drums, Jay O'Brien percussion, Bob Sammond, keyboard. We hope to see you there!
