Wow…it’s hard to find words to describe how special Back In The Day Pt.8 was..I truly want to thank each and everyone who attended and the people who has supported us from day one… I may book the venue and the djs but it’s you guys what actually makes the event what it is…Big shout out to all the Djs, DJ Billy Daniel Bunter and Matt Wilkins (Dj innercore) for playing 2 of the best sets norwich has heard for a long time, killatunes and reds for bringing a little bit of early 2000’s thetford Forrest to space studios, Talib Best Jay Johnson and Zach Lavene smashed it and was a honer to have you play..

If anyone has any photos or videos then please send them over as would love to see them..

So once again a mass thank you to everyone and we will see you all in the dance soon

Sorry we’ve been under the radar since Back in the day pt.7 …Mass love to all that attended and to all the DJs..As always it’s you guys that make it special….

We will be taking a break over festival season as no one wants to be stuck in a club in the peak of summer ( Give us a shout if you are interested in having us at your festival ) …

So with that said…I’m pleased to announce that we will be back on 19.10.24 and will be pushing for a late finish !!!

Keep an eye out as will be dropping event page in next couple weeks..

Yes yes people..Apologies for the radio silence since part 6…Been a hectic few weeks..We want to thank everyone who joined us in the dance..All the djs absolutely smashed it (even with m-beat playing Jump up 🤦‍♂️)..
Special thanks to Alex Palmer for door duties, Jay Johnson for being my right hand man and Rupert Davison on photo duties (will be uploaded soon)

Co-promoter of Norwich’s very own Back in the Day events, Legacy started DJing and raving in the early 2000’s where he earned his stripes playing many different genres before settling on the old/nuskool sounds of breakbeat hardcore. Legacy can often be found spinning the faster 160+bpm styles on vinyl with plenty of pianos to get them hands in the air! He’s played for many promotions over the years, notably Eclipse, Back in the Day, ReBoot and Top Banana and for festivals such as Symmetry, Tareout and Blueprint. Legacy is taking Back in the Day up a notch or two soon so watch out for that exciting news! Robin is a generous guy but he’d only lend you a tenner if you had change for a £20!
