So yesterday I threw a surprise party for my husband. I did everything my self, except the cake, and two dips. Our menu was: Brisket (that was slow cooked in a crockpot), meatballs (homemade and frozen and cooked in the crockpot); fruit bites, veggies, and chips and dip: buffalo chicken dip, and a sausage and cheese dip. I woke up at 5:30 (not intentionally) so I just got up and got to work. I had the brisket in by 8:30, I did my nails, got the meatballs in the crockpot, by 9. And got my homemade ice cream made. However, doing it my self, with some help from my friend. My husband didn’t leave the house till after 2:00. He was going to be back at 4:30. I had 2 hours before everyone was set to get to the house. We got the house from a hot mess to everything organized and ready. I unfortunately did not get pictures. But 5 bottles of wine later, I think it was a success. We had 17 people in our small home. But it was a blast!
