And to round out our team, here is our Katy Kat!

This fun loving girl spent a year in Nashville studying film until a national crisis sent her home a little early. She loved the welcoming atmosphere, the city life and whole general vibe they have going on there...but realized she's not a fan of traffic. 😆

She's a self-proclaimed nerd that loves laughing at cheesy jokes and all things Marvel. Her glasses are her signature look and she loves a good soft hoodie while sipping a frappe. Her senior photos were inspired by many Harry Potter quotes and her favorite trip ever was to Harry Potter world at Universal Studios.

Katy just got back from a packed summer as lead photographer at a gorgeous lakeside camp in Michigan. The experience turned her head from cinematographer wannabe to loving the still images of storytelling. She's looking forward to studying the art of photography more and teaming up with her sister to help Blossom the Bus bloom in Ohio!

Meet Lulu!
Our free spirited old soul with a hippy heart and a love of all things vintage! She's learning to drive Blossom and you will see her face at events and behind the camera as she will be handling a lot of the social media behind the scenes. Those cute tik tok videos? All her.

Lulu's ideal life would be living out of a van seeing the world...spending her days surfing and her nights snuggling with rescue animals. 🐾

Her favorite color is orange and she waited all summer long for season 2 of Outer Banks to drop. (She loved OBX before it was cool ✌️.) She enjoys a good night out with friends but lives for a night in on the couch with her family binge watching episodes of The Goldbergs. (Someday you might see her directing her own show based on the life of her own crazy family...there is a notebook with over 20 episodes brewing already!)

Reading is a must in the summer and she's looking forward to learning guitar in the coming year...because you can't have a VW Bus without a guitar player around.

If you see her around town driving Blossom, give her a wave...and don't stop too close behind her on a hill ;)

👋 Heyyy!! 👋
So I figured it's time to start with introductions to all my new and long time followers of Blossom the Bus!

First up is me :) I'm Susie...and I love VWs. My first car was a VW white rabbit that I call the White Rabbit :D I learned how to drive a stick shift with her on the back roads of Illinois as a teen. I currently have a '99 yellow beetle, Lemon Pie, and for the past few years have been on the hunt for a fun little bus to expand my business and take some adventures with. The perfect one had eluded me...until I saw Blossom! It was love at first sight.

I am a photographer/filmmaker/designer/media specialist/all the things but mainly the owner of The Photo Booth where I like to tell all sorts of visual stories through photos & films. I'm always up for a good 48hr film entry...(I can help with anything but the acting😆). I love my family deeply and my 3 beautiful kiddos have been the main subjects of my camera since I became a mom 20 years ago.

I love the color yellow. With a splash of seafoam green. I enjoy reading, especially dystopian society sorts that make this current world seem a little less crazy 🥴. I'm a sucker for reality tv shows like Survivor & Big Brother. I still miss Jack Bauer. My favorite movie is The Greatest Showman. I listen to all sorts of music but a good ol' record on the player on a rainy day is the most soul soothing.

I work hard so I can play hard...which means I LIVE for the beach with my feet in the sand and salt water in my hair. I get excited about a good road trip and would rather drive 18 hours than spend 4 on a plane.

Favorite quote?
Life's a Journey, not a destination. - Ralph Waldo Emerson...but let's be clear, Aerosmith made it real. ✌️

Excited for this new adventure and can't wait to share our Blossom with all of you!

Teaching our youngest shutterbug the ways of the 1974 stick shift! Super impressive...45 minutes and she only stalled out 2 times...the first time she went forward and the first time she reversed.

I think she's a natural. ❤

And how pretty does our 🌼 Blossom 🌸 look while Miss Lulu drives her around those fields...

Blossom the Bus is having her very first central Ohio mini session day in Bellefontaine, Ohio! Sessions will be on Saturday, September 11 just north of Bellefontaine.

* 20 minute sessions and 10 final images for $199. $60 due at booking and $139 due day of shoot. If you want to get a limited availability sun flare session spot, book during the first hour between 9-10am or the last hour between 6 & 7pm. Or book anytime mid-day for bright sunshine and blue sky! Lots of flowers and sun and vintage goodness. Perfect for couples, seniors, babies, families, anniversaries, puppies...pretty much anyone will look good in these. 🥰
