We get a lot of questions from our couples about their wedding invitation timeline planning and we have a hard and fast rule around here…ready for it?

We recommend you send your save the dates anywhere from 6 to 8 months out from your wedding date and your invitations 6 to 8 weeks from your wedding date. Super simple!

Pro Tip: You may want to air on the side of eight months/weeks when sending invites if you’re expecting a lot of out-of-town guests or if your wedding is taking place during a long weekend/over the Holidays. ✨

Room reveals after months of design planning is always worth the wait. ✨

Design is a huge part of our industry and I completely understand the topic of trends and creating something unique but sometimes, our couples like what they like. They’re not interested in doing what’s going to get them the most views, or what’s “in” right now and we don’t force them to.

We’re in the business of service; when it comes to curating a design, that involves listening to our couples and observing what they’re drawn to.

Do we show our couples what’s possible from a design perspective? Absolutely.
Do we copy and paste an idea without personalizing it to who we’re serving? Nope.
Do we secretly try to push our portfolio agendas around here? Absolutely not.

Working with a planner you trust means knowing, for a fact, that they have your best interest at heart.

Picking and choosing vendors is a HUGE part of wedding planning. Choosing the RIGHT vendors, now that’s the strategic part of the process, but price should never be your only guide. Ever heard of that old saying “you get what you pay for”? This rings especially true when selecting vendors for one of the most special days of your lives.

While it might seem like a smart financial move initially, cheaper vendors can often lead to unexpected costs down the line—be it through inferior products, delayed services, or lack of support.

Sometimes our clients come to us with a vendor they’ve already hired or vendors they want to hire and although we’ll roll with that and ensure the vendor is able to execute to the best of their ability while keeping in line with OUR standards (ha! 😉), when you invest in a vendor with a proven track record, you’re not just paying for a product or service; you’re investing in peace of mind, expertise, and a commitment to excellence.
