Tonight the first recipient of the Glenda Tauzin Memorial Scholarship was recognized; Tyriel Fleming. Tyriel is a Junior in the Nursing program and is passionate about patient care. She embodies the ideals that my mother showed in her nursing career. We are honored to be allowed to become a small part of her journey. We were able to tell her stories of the 6E nurses that made mom love her job so much. She was truly appreciative and everything we hope for in recipients.

Scholarship update: The scholarship is active and the first Nicholls State University Nursing student recipient was chosen for the Fall 2022 semester!

The scholarship amount is growing!! Over $3000 was deposited into the fund this month, thanks to Glenda's father and all of the proceeds from her Young Living Essential Oils sales.- Lilah Landry

Also, the link is now live on Nicholls State University Foundation website to donate directly to the Glenda Stevison Tauzin Memorial Scholarship!
