From the bottom of our hearts, we truly cannot thank you all enough. What started as a fun jam session, turned into a community of support and music. Thank you to all of the venues who graciously shared us with the world, and to Melissa Procida for providing us shows since day one. It has been a wonderful two years performing for all of you, and we hope to be back together soon.

This past Saturday at Rock Row’s 3rd annual BBQ Showdown, the Smoke’n Trucker BBQ team went home with the championship! Huge shootout and thank you to everyone who came to this sold out event and voted for us. We are especially proud as this is our FIRST win.

Ok my BBQ PEEPS now that I have come down from cloud nine it’s time to give you my last BBQ review. For those of you who know BBQ you should know that the #1 BBQ spot in the country is Franklins BBQ Austin TX and it’s hard to get in every day, if your not in the door before 2pm your most likely not gonna get to eat Brisket or ribs. Well my friends the good lord saw fit to shine down on me and on Tuesday at 1:15 pm I got end and was the second to last person to get Brisket 🤩🤩🤩🤩
Now the food was awesome but my joy came from being given a tour of the Smokin room and meeting chef Jordan Jackson who runs the kitchen. I can only say thanks chef you made my trip and I hope to see you in Maine soon. For the food review we’ll I had the Brisket and some ribs and I have to say it lived up to the hype , sorry but I only have one picture of the meat , I got into it and forgot to take pictures lol but here’s what I got. I give Franklins 9/10 could use more sides.

Howdee BBQ people
So I set out on Sunday to do some BBQ hopping and quickly found out that in the Bible belt places close on Sunday, you gotta give the lord his day you know . So me and my friends Ray and Sandra when to Rudy’s BBQ , now Rudy’s is a chain restaurant but it’s was pretty cool place to eat . The BBQ ribs were good , tender not quite fall of the bone but you didn’t have to work to get it off for sure. The sauce was very good tomato vinegar base and a kick they also had a sissy sauce not hot .now the brisket was very good we had the lean pieces, you could pull it apart with your fingers and it was moist . The Saugus was dry that’s all I’m gonna say about that . And last but not least we had Turkey the Turkey was Turkey that was sitting out but we were there first thing so it should’ve been a little moist but it’s Turkey . The beans were so so I had to add BBQ sauce to them to give them flavor I didn’t eat the potato salad because I don’t do eggs but overall the atmosphere was great and I enjoyed my self the whole time , and the staff was great .

Hey BBQ peps stop #3 Coopers Old time pit BBQ in college station Tx .
Ok I might’ve over done it today with the beef but I couldn’t help myself the brisket was fork tender and seasoned just a bit much aka to much salt but not enough to stop me from eating what was on my plate . The beef short ribs were the same well cooked tender I had to save some for later lol , then I had jalapeño and cheddar sausage man they were good . My daughter had the ribs and burnt ends I’ll be eating her leftovers , and we had pinto beans, green beans and bacon jalapeño mac and cheese I loved both the beans the Mac and cheese was ok so overall I had a good time and enjoyed the place I give them a 7/10 I would definitely go back .
