This is a dystopian world divided between the overcrowded slums of the Inland and the perfect paradise of the Offshore. When people in the Inland turn 20, they have a chance to become Candidates in the Process. Over several days in small groups they undergo a series of tests - interviews, team building exercises, and moral dilemmas - whilst being constantly monitored and judged.
Our larp attempts to replicate that Process, with all the players being Candidates undergoing a series of tests, whilst making new friends and relationships, and seeing the secrets of their past return to haunt them…
Players have the choice of either playing a Candidate for the whole weekend, or playing a Candidate who will be eliminated on Saturday (and they can then either join us as NPCs, play their character in a different way or leave the game).
Whilst this game is set a year after Run 0 in july, it is not a direct sequel - the player characters will be a whole new cast, from a different part of the Inland. Based on feedback after the Run 0, we're working on increasing the Sunday game for people eliminated on Saturday, and changing some of the tests.
