Today was a great day. I got a lot of things done and installed a light over the pool table at my nonprofit theater with Louis Flagg, went to my Rotary meeting, painted two walls at my new place at the lake, burned leaves, and i taught some kids in my acting class about public speaking and literally had them snd their aunt laughing out loud. Tonight I’m grading a DECA Finance paper and tomorrow I’m judging a DECA competition in Columbia.

Then KC people ask me “What do you do at the lake in the winter ?”

This is my Sports Bar bartending crew. I swear I love these guys and miss them so much already. The second tallest one John remembered me from a prior cruise a year ago and we were best friends the whole cruise. Seven nights of fun and laughs!

These guys…
I don’t quantify parties in terms of time, cost or really the number of people, I mean if someone shows up to a party and they don’t drink were they really there?
These guys have provided high quality booming sound for parties we put on in college totaling just over 100 kegs in the 80s and 90s. There was no Truly or craft beer or seltzers back in those days, just cold kegs and red cups.
Some people love their cars, I love these guys who have provided more music and fun to people than you can fathom.
Pioneer HPM 100s came out in the 80s I think and my dad lent these to me going to college and they’ve been part of life ever since.
They’ve been fairly quiet (for them) the last 15-20 years or so, but I’m sure the next chapter will be a good one for us at Lake Jon’s Rock & Roll Theatre (www.lakejon.org)!!
