For the time being, we don't require a minimum 3-hour booking at Wivenhoe SoundLab, so you're very welcome to book an hour for drum, guitar, keys, or vocal practice! However you would like to spend your hour being creative, we're happy we can provide you with the space to de-stress, let go, and create ❤

Sunday the 1st of August Martin Newell sang about the rain...and then it poured 😄 Great set for our opening launch party at the Wivenhoe Business Centre 🥳 The fab The Wicked Ravens were still able to play a few tunes before we had to cut the electricity off, but it was definitely a memorable event with lots of local talent, and it felt great to experience live music again.

We will start doing live sessions from the studio next month, which you can sign up for soon 🙂 The first to do a live streaming session will be to make up for the rain ❤ dates and links to be announced soon!

Can't believe it's been a week since I first performed live again with Owen as after such a long time without gigs and such a strange year, while officially launching and celebrating the return of live music... and becoming a business owner with my business partner !

It's been a strange and difficult year for many, but it has definitely brought on majorly positive changes that may not have happened otherwise. I've had my ups and downs when it comes to musical creativity, but my passion for enabling others to create through live events and creating this space has certainly put me back in the right place. I hope all musicians who've felt uninspired this last year are finding their feet again, and that the space we've created helps everyone get back on track and playing live ❤❤❤

We are open 7 days a week from 9 am - 10.30pm and don't require a minimum booking, so you're welcome to book anything from an hour of drum practice to full days of band rehearsal studio sessions. We've had quite a few enquiries about where in Wivenhoe we're based, so while FB won't let us update our address at the moment we'll just post it. Our trading hours are due to be updated as well as soon as we're fully open, but you're welcome to get in touch now via messenger, DM, or email, and get in early booking your regular rehearsal or recording sessions.

We are located in no 8. of the Wivenhoe Business Centre in Wivenhoe, Colchester, Essex, CO7 9DP.

Just getting the space tightly soundproofed in the next few days, and then we'll overload you with lots of exciting announcements!

Hey everyone, we're opening soon! 🥳🥳🥳

We're super grateful that there was so much interest to keep the studio open 🙏🏾 We're really excited to be opening up to the community soon and get everyone playing and recording music again after a tough year for all of us musicians. We've been busy getting everything ready for you to give you the best experience. We'll keep adding to the studio as we go along, but it's a great space, ready to be used!

While we're still setting up, you're welcome to enquire about using the space for rehearsal (there's a drum kit available but we'll announce when this can be used - just finishing soundproofing to ensure we don't disturb the neighbours) and we can book you in at a time when we're not working there.

Current rate for rehearsal is £10p/hour. There's a fridge, so you're welcome to BYOB 😉 Please message Kaly via Facebook messenger or WhatsApp for enquiries, or email [email protected] .
