A Heartwarming Update: JEN Inc. Support Makes a Difference

JEN, Inc. is thrilled to share an uplifting update on 16-year-old Jeremia's recovery journey—a story that reminds us of the power of resilience, community, and hope.

On Halloween, Jeremia and his best friend were injured in a hit-and-run car accident. Jeremia suffered serious injuries and was hospitalized for over a month. We are happy to report he is home now, and his progress has been nothing short of remarkable. Despite the challenges he’s faced, Jeremia is now walking and has even started playing soccer at his local park—a true testament to his strength and determination. While he still has a long road ahead, his goal of returning to school is within reach as he continues to make strides every day.

His mom expressed her deepest gratitude for the overwhelming support her family has received. She shared how much it meant to have the financial gift from JEN Inc. and to feel the love and prayers from the community.

Jeremia’s journey is a beautiful reminder of what can happen when a community comes together in kindness and support for a family during their darkest hours.

Let’s continue to cheer Jeremia on as he takes each step forward, both on his path to recovery and on the soccer field! This December, Red, White, Bubbly & Brew returns to the 13th annual Cary Gifting Tree event, spotlighting our non-profit JEN, Inc. with the tree and the kindness and hope our non-profit has spread throughout the community this year!

Our tree in Downtown Cary will showcase not just festive lights and decorations, but it will tell the JEN, Inc. story. JEN, Inc. Brings Hope to Two Families in Need
In times of hardship, the strength of a community shines brightest. JEN Inc. was honored to extend financial gifts to the families of two 16-year-old boys who were victims of a tragic hit-and-run accident at the end of October. One of the teens remains in the hospital, and both face a long road to recovery.

These families, bound by friendship and now by unimaginable challenges, were deeply moved by the outpouring of generosity—not just by the financial assistance but by the love and support from people they had never met. It was a powerful reminder of the impact a community can have when it comes together to show kindness and care.

As autumn winds down and days grow shorter (and darker without daylight savings time), we find it a perfect time to pause for a moment of reflection and gratitude. What an incredible fall season it's been! From smooth jazz concerts in Downtown Raleigh to apple-spiced fun at Phillips Farms in Cary and Haven in Knightdale, to the fall markets at Carolina Lakes, it's been the many smiling faces and raised glasses we've seen that have been the highlight of our busiest and most successful season yet.

Let's be honest - when you think of wine, "vegan" probably isn't the first word that comes to mind. After all, wine is simply fermented grapes, right? Well, as it turns out, there are certain products introduced by winemakers during the fining process that make many wines off-limits for those following a plant-based lifestyle.

On Wednesday, November 13 between 5 - 8 p.m., we will open your eyes (and your palate) to the world of exceptional vegan wines at the Bubbly Plus at Haven Wine Tasting Event. We've carefully curated a lineup of vegan pours that are every bit as sophisticated and delicious as their non-vegan counterparts. Get ready to savor the crisp, refreshing notes of Loveblock Sauvignon Blanc, the rich elegance of Loveblock Pinot Noir, and the captivating charm of Summer Water Rosé. We will be offering $5 and $10 tasting flights or join our monthly wine club for $20.
