Never in my life have I ever been competitive or had a passion...until I discovered BBQ. My smoker has served me well for the last two years. My next goal is this purchase. It'll include a required sink package and a 250gal smoker. It's going to take hard work. And I'm looking forward to that.

Ooooh, the sun will come out....tomorrow! At the weekly Geneva Outdoor Market! It's also the final day of Jazz Fest, so we're anticipating some big crowds. I'll begin serving up some brisket (limited), pulled pork and some other undecided goodies at 1100am. But the market opens at 1000am, with live music throughout. Hope to see some familiar faces!

Good morning and happy hump day!

This Friday, from 4-7, Show Us Your Meats BBQ will be serving up some delicious smoked BBQ in Twin Lakes at a local joint called Cup O’ Joe Coffee House. If you're unfamiliar, think the TV show Friends. Take a trip back to the late 90s, come experience the nostalgia of the show, and grab some smoked BBQ for your Friday dinner!

So today turned out to be a unique one. The smoker was acting up. The morning ribs were to temp in about 90 minutes. The brisket was there in about 7 hours. It was breezy, which felt good. But I hate it blowing all of my materials everywhere! All in all, I thank Amanda Kloppstein, Kevin OConnell, Nick Vorpagel, Lake Geneva Country Meats, and Lake Como Wisconsin Community Connection for making today as successful as could be!

Not even sure how to describe the last 3 days. Sold out both lunch and dinner on Friday. Had a very successful private event Saturday, despite the rain. Sold out again today. And I had the best help from Kevin Schramm and his amazing daughter, and from my go-to apprentice Nolan. Jim McDonaugh stopped by and offered all the help in the world. Towards the end, I got a surprise visit from Gramma.

I'm exhausted and in a lotofpain, but I wouldn't change it. Great memories made.

JULY 9/10 APPLETON, WI HHA Sports, Inc. 3D Archery Event . These events raise money for Wisconsin based Veteran nonprofits. Grab your bow and bring an appetite we will be offering smoked Pulled Pork curious of Show Us Your Meats BBQ and Burn Pit BBQ.

This year we are also raising money for a local veteran that served in the Marine Corps, was also a Green Beret, and Appleton police officer. If you don’t shoot bows then come out and say hi, and grab some food.
