My husband and son put together these wooden boxes and I filled them with succulents. Aren't they so cute?

My daughter gave them away as favors to her bridesmaids and asked me to bring her an extra one next time I visit.

Wow, just look at this adorable couple 😍

I may be a biased Mama, but I think these two will make the cutest grandbabies (when the time comes 😉).

My daughter put some of her favorite quotes over her engagement photos to put on canvas and we dug up some baby pictures for one of our display tables.

We thought about pulling some embarrassing baby photos, but thought better of it 😁 Do you want baby pictures displayed at your wedding, or are you keeping those for your photo albums alone?

Isn't this little planter the cutest!? 😱

My daughter LOVES succulents, so when she told me her colors I thought succulents would be the perfect theme. We went to in Utah and picked these up in a ton of different styles!

There are so many fun details you can iron out once you decide on your theme!

Happy Veterans Day to my handsome son! I'm a proud mama of an army strong boy.

Joseph is stationed in Hawaii so he wasn't able to make it to Cassie's wedding, but he was able to watch and call her afterwards. You can see the love she has for him. Not having our Joseph with us was the hardest thing, but we are so grateful for him and all those who serve our country ❤️🇺🇲

Choosing a lot of colors for your wedding is not a bad thing! Bride Cassie chose dusty blue, maroon, mauve, cream, and green, which you can all see in her beautiful bouquet (which, yes, I designed 😉)

For a fall wedding, these colors were absolutely perfect 😍

How beautiful is this dress 😍 My lovely daughter got it in Utah and to say we all cried is an understatement! Saying yes to the dress is such a fun event. Make sure you shop around plenty and take a few trusted friends with you. You're going to want everyone with you to hype you up and make sure that you feel as stunning as you are!

Picking your wedding party can be stressful! Most people struggle to decide which of their family and friends they want to honor on their special day and this can cause a lot of tension, as you worry about someone feeling left out or offended. My suggestion? Less is more. If you are afraid to leave then out because you think they'll be bothered by it, chances are you'll regret it later. You have enough stress to worry about and you're going to want to be surrounded by complete love and support. If someone wants to be dramatic about being left out, that's on them! Those who truly love you will understand and support you no matter what!

The very first things you need to do when planning your wedding? Deciding on the date!

There are a lot of factors to take into account. Do you have a date that is special to you or your spouse? Are their external factors that may affect when you can get married? Do you have anyone else who's schedule will affect your date?

Did you know that most vendors will charge more for weddings done during the weekend? And that whether or not it's "wedding season" (typically May through October)can effect cost as well?

Wedding season is wrapping up, but that doesn't mean weddings are over for the year!

Wedding season is typically May through October, which means venues and other vendors are typically at peak pricing during those months.

So, what does that mean for a late fall/winter wedding? It means less $$$ spent on your special day, which can help minimize wedding stress and who doesn't like to save a pretty penny on the best/most expensive day of your life 🤷🏻‍♀️

Wedding planning is always stressful, especially with a pandemic casting a shadow over your plans! 😪

For my daughter's wedding, we had to recruit her teenage cousins to help serve the food to meet regulations, which was luckily an easy fix for us for one of the many issues we had thanks to COVID 😬
