Our royal celebrations continue today in Castle Green and Vivary Park!

Don’t miss our ‘Right Royal Art Off’ where artists are welcome to pitch up to paint the celebrations from 12-4pm. Artwork will be judged by the GoCreate Taunton board and a winner will be announced live on stage at 4.20pm. The winner will receive a £100 voucher towards art materials!

Alongside this talented local artist Sam Gaden of Aerosol Art will be here to help you create your own masterpieces! All ages welcome - first come first served. Just bring your own canvas (no bigger than a metre) and we’ll supply the paint!

The Arts Hub Taunton Arts Market will also be on the green! See you there!

Don’t forget that the arts market Arts Hub Taunton has been relocated to Castle Green for this month on Sunday to coincide with the coronation event. There is no market on Saturday.

Also calling all local artists who’d like to get involved with ‘A Right Royal Art Off’ hosted by GoCreate Taunton, you might just win £100 towards artist materials!

I will also be at this event helping you to paint your own canvas!
All ages welcome, first come first served.
I will supply the paint all you need to do is bring a canvas no bigger than a meter and a simple idea, or I can just help you do a Graffiti thing for your name.
You can get an A1 canvas from places like Wilco, propper job, the range, hobby craft, or online. We can even paint over an old canvas you already have.

As the countdown to the Coronation continues, a new photograph of The King and The Queen Consort, taken last month in the Blue Drawing Room at Buckingham Palace, has been released.

It is also announced today that eight Pages of Honour have been chosen to attend Their Majesties during the Coronation Service. The Pages will form part of the procession through the Nave of Westminster Abbey.

- The King’s Pages of Honour will be His Royal Highness Prince George of Wales, Lord Oliver Cholmondeley, Master Nicholas Barclay and Master Ralph Tollemache.

- The Queen Consort’s Pages of Honour will be Her Majesty’s grandsons, Master Gus and Master Louis Lopes and Master Freddy Parker Bowles, and Her Majesty’s great-nephew, Master Arthur Elliot.
