We are so excited to welcome some new followers, so I wanted to take a moment to reintroduce myself.
Hey, my name is Sal and I am the founder of Flora + Dean. For 12 years I was a professional actor, but when the pandemic hit, I had to switch gears to support my growing family. Now, three years later, I couldn't be happier with where life has taken me.
My amazing wife, Kaitlyn, not only encouraged me to pursue my dream of owning a business but also shares the responsibilities of running it with me. With the support of our family, friends, colleagues, and dedicated staff, I'm able to balance being a business owner and a dad to my energetic three-year-old son, Dean - who is the reason behind it all.
I want to say a massive thank you to all of our clients and followers for your continued support. It means the world to me. Here's to each and every one of you! 🥂

The wedding day is always bitter sweet for us. Of course we are so happy that the big day is here and that it is finally time to put the months (sometimes years) of planning to rest and celebrate, but it often means that our time with a couple has come to an end.

Happy 2 year Anniversary to my cousin Amanda and Mario.
Two years ago my cousin asked for an elevated centerpiece that still felt light and airy. From a small sketch at the kitchen table we settled on what we now call "the Amanda." This centerpiece is still one of our most requested and it always brings an extra smile to my face when I get to redesign a look I created with my family.

A fresh new look for a fresh new year ⚡️
I am so excited to share our new logo with all of you as well as a complete revamp of our website! When I started Flora + Dean I made seating charts and centerpieces, balloon walls and dessert tables, and then would stay and photograph it all! Despite enjoying all of that, as the business grew, I started to realize how much I loved floral design.
I am so happy to say that flowers are now our focus and future. Although, we will still offer the occasional balloon garland, we are more than happy to refer you to any of the incredibly talented colleagues we've come to know and respect for any ofher of your event needs.
Thank you to all our incredible couples and clients who have made this change possible. I love what I do and it's been so special to share in so many beautiful moments with all of you 🤍
